Last year(2025) Uptown Movers came to my rescue! I was in a panic and called to ask what they would charge me to move some very heavy containers out of storage unit to another location and needed it done that day. They already had a full day scheduled. After explaining more about my serious predicament, they told me they could come immediately & could give me 1 hour only, before they started their proper day. I was so relieved from the immense stress I had been suffering for days and was running both out of time and finances fast! I was very ill at the time as well. When they gave me a quote for 1 hour and the cost, I realized it was still too high for me after I had paid out so much money already for moving a huge amount of furnishings and thanked the gentlemen for his thoughtfulness and why I had to decline. It may have been the catch in my throat or he truly understood my distress, so he offered me a discount that I could afford, however I also realized that 1 hour probably wouldn't finish the job anyway, so not to waste their time, I apologized, explaining such. After a minute, he kindly told me, that they were coming to help me anyway! I couldn't believe it!! This kindness & thoughtfulness isn't today's norm anymore. Once they arrived and moved alot of the items, but the hour was up & there were still many, heavy items remaining inside my locker, I knew I was lost. But to my utter astonishment, he said they weren't going to leave me until it was all done! I asked him why he would do this for me & he simply said it was because he "liked helping people" whenever he could. He was being sincere, I could see that. Stunned, and so moved by his generosity and kindness, I could barely utter a thank you. They went far beyond just an extra mild for an old lady who was sick & in crisis at that time! They will never really know the depth of my gratitude. This review comes late, and I regret it. But better late than never, right? I just thought it deserved to be "seen". They certainly earned it. I wish I could do more. Thank you all so much...you "helped" someone that day and I will try to pay it forward! Bless you.

The team at Uptown Moving were incredibly supportive, and hard working during the duration of our move. They made a fun environment during a rather stressfull time. The final bill came in under the quoted amount. I would use them again.

We had a great experience with Uptown Moving. Kevin and Scotty arrived about 30 minutes early, which was a pleasant surprise, and they were both incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process.<br><br>They moved a large sectional couch, TV, and TV stand for us, and also removed two old couches and a dining room table set. Everything was handled with care, and it was clear they took pride in their work. The price was very reasonable, and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free.<br><br>The only small suggestion I would have is that a confirmation call, text, or email closer to the moving date would be appreciated. We had booked several weeks in advance, so we weren’t entirely sure if everything was still scheduled for today. That said, Kevin and Scotty showed up right on time (early, actually!) and did an excellent job.<br><br>We would definitely use Uptown Moving again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers and furniture removal services.

Uptown moving was recommended to me. I can’t say enough on how fantastic this company is. There was a hiccup in my situation, they were more than kind and accommodating, I’m very grateful to them all. Thanks to Dave and Dustin who loaded up the truck and Josh, Kevin, Shawn and Kenny who unloaded at the other end. Don’t hesitate, just hire them! Josh was quick to pick up the phone and his guys, Ken and Kai did in minutes what would have taken me exhausting hour to do. Five stars is not adequate.
