1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Majestic Moving Companies, a moving-company directory operated by Majestic Automation("Majestic Moving Companies," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit majesticmovingcompanies.com, interact with our AI moving agent "Robert," request a quote, or otherwise interact with us.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

• Contact information you provide when you request a quote or ask Robert for help: your name, phone number, email address, and any message you write.
• Move details you share so we can match you: your origin and destination, move date, home size, and any specialty or access needs.
• Account information if you are a moving company that claims or submits a listing: login credentials, business details, and a log of your activity in the portal.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: browser type, operating system, IP address, pages visited, time on page, referring URL, and general location inferred from IP (region, not precise location).
• Cookies and similar technologies: a small number of cookies to keep you logged in and to measure how the site performs. See the cookies section below.

Information from third parties

• Publicly available business information we gather from sources such as Google Maps and company websites — used only to build and maintain the movers directory. If your business information appears there and you want it corrected or removed, email us and we’ll handle it within a reasonable time.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Match you with moving companies that fit your move and respond to your requests.
• Let our AI agent Robert ask follow-up questions by chat, text, phone, or email when you’ve asked him to reach you.
• Send you transactional messages related to your request (for example, confirming your details were shared with matching movers).
• Operate, secure, debug, and improve the directory.
• Comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our terms.

We will not use your information to sell you unrelated products, share it with third-party advertisers, or add you to a marketing list for other companies.

4. Who we share information with

Matching movers.When you request a quote or ask Robert to share your shortlist, the move details and the contact information you chose to provide are passed to the matching moving companies in your origin city so they can contact you with a quote. This is the core service you are asking us to perform, and it happens only at your request. You decide who receives your information by choosing which movers to request a quote from. We do not blast your details to companies you didn’t ask for.

Service providers who help us run the directory, each under its own privacy practices:

• Infrastructure & database: Supabase (stores listing and request data), Vercel (hosts the website).
• AI models: Anthropic (powers our AI agent Robert). Your conversations with Robert are processed by Anthropic’s API under its standard terms.
• Messaging: Resend (email), Twilio (SMS and voice calls).
• Payments: Stripe (handles payments for moving companies that purchase paid listings or leads — consumers never pay us).
• Data collection: Apify (publicly available business directory data).

We may also share information (a) with your explicit consent, (b) as required by law or to respond to valid legal process, (c) to protect the safety, rights, or property of Majestic Moving Companies, our users, or the public, or (d) in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.

5. SMS / text messaging with Robert

If you give us your mobile number and consent to receive text messages, our AI moving agent Robert will text you to help with your move. Here’s exactly how it works:

• How you opt in. On our website you tap a "Text with Robert" button, which opens a short form for your name and mobile number. Before you submit, the form displays: "By submitting, you agree Majestic Moving Companies’ AI agent Robert may text you with quote-related questions. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Once your move details are captured, they may be shared with matching movers in your origin city so they can contact you with a quote. See our Privacy Policy & Terms." You can also opt in by texting our published number first.
• What we text you. Conversational, quote-related messages — Robert asks for your move details and confirms when matching movers have been notified — plus related operational follow-ups about your request. We do not send recurring marketing or promotional text campaigns.
• Opt out anytime. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help and our contact information.
• Message frequency & rates. Message frequency varies based on your conversation. Message and data rates may apply.

Your SMS consent is never shared. The mobile information you provide and your consent to receive text messages will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for any purpose. Sharing your move details and chosen contact information with matching movers (described in Section 4) is a separate action you specifically request so a mover can quote your job; it is not a transfer of your SMS opt-in data and it is not marketing on our behalf.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Correct information that’s wrong.
• Delete your information (subject to legal exceptions).
• Opt out of texts (reply STOP) and emails (use the unsubscribe link).
• Request that we not sell or share your information — we don’t sell it, but you can still confirm.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Quote requests and the related messages are generally retained for up to 3 years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Anonymized analytics that don’t identify you may be retained in aggregate.

8. Cookies

We use cookies for essential functions (keeping you logged in, maintaining session state) and for privacy-respecting analytics so we can improve the site. We do not use advertising cookies. Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings; blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS) in transit, encrypted databases at rest, and limited internal access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we’d want ours treated.

Our services are intended for adults arranging a move and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we’ve inadvertently collected information from a child, email us and we’ll delete it.
