Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of majesticmovingcompanies.com and the related services offered by Majestic Moving Companies, a directory operated by Majestic Automation("Majestic Moving Companies," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the site, requesting a quote, or interacting with our AI moving agent "Robert," you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2. What we are — and what we are not

We are a directory and matching service. We help you discover moving companies, compare them, and get connected with movers that fit your move. We are not a moving company, a broker-of-record, a carrier, or a freight forwarder, and we do not pack, load, transport, store, or deliver your belongings.

Any estimate, quote, contract, booking, payment, or move is solely between you and the moving company you choose. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for a mover’s pricing, conduct, performance, delays, damage, loss, or any dispute between you and a mover.

3. Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. The service is intended for people arranging a move (or moving companies managing a listing) and is not directed to children.

4. The directory and listings

• Listings are built from publicly available business information and from details that moving companies add when they claim or submit a profile.
• Reviews and ratings are aggregated from third-party review platforms and reflect those sources, not our endorsement.
• Details such as USDOT/MC numbers, licensing, insurance, and specialty services come from the mover or public records and can change or be inaccurate. Always verify a mover’s credentials and coverage directly (for interstate movers, check the federal FMCSA database) before you book.
• A listing is not a recommendation, certification, or guarantee of any mover’s quality, legitimacy, or fitness for your move.

5. Robert, our AI moving agent

"Robert" is an automated, AI-powered assistant that helps capture your move details and match you with movers by chat, text, phone, or email. Robert is AI and says so. AI can make mistakes, and any estimate or information Robert provides is for convenience only — it is not a binding quote or professional advice. Confirm the specifics (price, dates, access, insurance) directly with the mover before relying on them.

6. Quotes, connections, and your relationship with movers

When you request a quote or ask Robert to share your shortlist, the move details and contact information you choose to provide are passed to matching moving companies so they can contact you. You decide which movers receive your information. Movers are independent third parties; we don’t control them and don’t guarantee that any mover will respond, quote, honor a quote, be available, or complete your move. Vet any mover and read your agreement before you pay a deposit or sign.

7. Communications and text messaging

If you give us your contact information and consent, we (and Robert) may contact you by email, SMS, or phone about your move request. For text messages, you can reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help; message and data rates may apply. How we handle SMS opt-in and your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. For moving companies

If you claim or submit a listing, you represent that you’re authorized to act for that business and that the information you provide is accurate. Paid listings and purchased leads are billed through Stripeon the terms shown at checkout. You’re responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your business and your communications with consumers, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and applicable state laws.

9. Acceptable use

When using the service, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or impersonate another person or business.
• Use the service for spam or any purpose that violates anti-spam or anti-telemarketing laws.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically download listings or data beyond normal personal use.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the site or its underlying systems.
• Infringe anyone’s intellectual property or other rights.

We may suspend or remove access, listings, or content if we reasonably believe these rules are being violated or that there’s a risk to us, our users, or the public.

10. Intellectual property

The site, our brand, content, and software are owned by Majestic Automation and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to use the site to find and contact movers. You may not copy, resell, or build a competing directory from our content without our written permission.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that listings, reviews, or AI-generated information are accurate, complete, or current, or that any mover will meet your expectations. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAJESTIC MOVING COMPANIES AND MAJESTIC AUTOMATION, AND THEIR PRINCIPALS, EMPLOYEES, AND VENDORS, WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR PROPERTY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY MOVE, QUOTE, OR DEALING WITH A MOVER — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Because we provide the directory free of charge to consumers, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Majestic Moving Companies and Majestic Automation, and their principals, employees, and vendors, from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of (a) your use of the service, (b) information you provide, (c) your dealings or contract with any mover, or (d) your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

14. Changes to the service and these terms

We may modify or discontinue features at any time, and we may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
