Moving company reviews in Austin

“I only leave reviews for really good or really terrible service. The Moving Kings were excellent. Competitively priced, professional, easy, & excellent communication. Manuel rocks! I would totally use Moving Kings again in the future.”

“Matthew and team were great—punctual, efficient, careful, and easy to work with. BSM was recommended to me by a good friend, and I'm glad I got a quote from them. They were reasonably priced and all costs/fees/charges were explained in full, with no surprises. I had a slightly unique move, with three locations involved, and everything went so smoothly. Highly recommend!”

“Great work, I appreciate it guys. Very efficient.”

“The Unicorn team of 2 Jose’s 😉 and Francisco did a great job for me, I’m pretty sure my move was much more intensive than they planned but they stayed with it and got it done. They are strong, polite, and get the job done. You can feel comfortable choosing Unicorn Moving. From my first phone call, on a Sunday, until the move yesterday and even when I called with a question tonight, they have responded immediately. The management team and the moving team were both excellent. Hire Unicorn for your next move! You will be glad you did. Thanks, Unicorn!”

“I can't recommend Common Sense Moving enough. Zack and Drew were fantastic! Efficient, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. Communication throughout the process was great, from quick email responses during booking to morning-of texts with updates.

I had a smaller local move (roughly a one-bedroom apartment worth of furniture and boxes), and they made the whole process feel seamless and stress-free. They handled everything with care and finished faster than estimated while still being thorough and professional.

This was my first time hiring movers, and it honestly made the experience so much easier than I expected. I'd absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers in the Austin area!”

“Amazing!! Reliable, polite and professional!!!”

“The only company in Austin ill ever use again and again! These guys are so awesome and the absolute best. Services are fantastic, communication is fantastic, they work hard in a timely manner. Second time ive used them and will definitely be a repeated lifetime customer. Ive used 4 other companies to move and Common sense has been the absolute best and ive had different guys each time that were amazing!”

“This company did a phenomenal job at packing my entire house and traveling 1000 miles away and unloading my stuff. The crew lead Yannick was super professional and drove very safely. I was blown away because ive used many other movers in the past but we wont mention names, all that I know is I will use yannick and company over and over again for all my moving needs.”

“Absolutely phenomenal. Super professional and personable. Will recommend to anyone moving in the central Texas area”

“Jorgen and Angel were amazing. Polite- efficient and were respectful of the property.”

“I cannot recommend Boxer Buddies enough! The two guys who came out to help move my daughter’s apartment were absolutely amazing. They were so respectful, professional, and incredibly hardworking. Not only were they fast and efficient, but they also did everything I asked without hesitation and made the entire moving process stress-free.

If anyone is looking for reliable movers in Austin, definitely hire Boxer Buddies. “Jorgen and Angel were amazing. Polite- efficient and were respectful of the property.”

“Vic and his team did a phenomenal job! We used a three man crew to move a 3500 sqft home. They have a good system and work efficiently. They disassembled a lot of my furniture, and put it back together in the new home. They took care to wrap and protect my furniture, including a very old, delicate piece. We had no damage to the homes or our furniture. This was the smoothest move my Husband and I have undergone in the last 15 years. Just hire them!”

“Very professional and competent!!”

“Ryan, Mills, and Christian did such a wonderful job unloading our stuff! They were friendly, professional, and fast. They even helped us put together furniture, which was sooo helpful!”

“Used Mighty Might for a recent move. The folks worked hard, fast, and got the move completed quick. I would use them for my next move.”

“Sometimes smaller is better. In this case, the people you talk to are the ones that are actually doing the job! They pay attention to the details that make all the difference. Unlike two recent moves where some things were damaged, broken and the process rushed so things were not done anywhere close to normal satisfaction. This move was significantly different on the unload. They took the time to put things together properly, lay them out where they needed to go, clean up after everything and we’re very patient in helping us arrange things so that we got off to a good start. Because of that, they have my hundred percent recommendation. If they treat you like they treated me, you’re going to be majorly happy. 🤗”

“Kaye and Nate gave it their all to help my dad move from a 2 story house to a 1 BR apartment. Some of the heaviest items were upstairs and they did a tremendous effort getting everything in order. No scratches or dents on items. Friendly and personable we enjoyed the experience, will use again”

“My husband and I used Ironman Moving this week for our apartment and garage. I wish I had Juan and Leo every time we moved! They worked incredibly quick and efficient, the U-Haul trailer was packed perfect. Every inch utilized. The duo was also so personable, funny and pleasant to talk with. HIGHLY recommend. Thanks guys!”

“Jason and Chris were extremely helpful and efficient. I couldnt recommend ATX Movers enough.”

“Absolutely amazing everything was handled professionally with care could not have asked for a better move super quick, super friendly definitely recommending to all of my friends.”

“This company moved my mom from Weatherford to Eastland. These movers were very respectful, kind, considerate and very very helpful. My mom would choose them if she ever have to move again.”

“Adrian and Jarett were great! Very positive despite a fire alarm delay!”

“The team made the move personal by calling instead of texting or emailing. Even though we had every item boxed, the move took longer than we estimated. There were stairs on both ends of the move. We were charged for the time it took to find a proper moving-truck parking but Porter adjusted the price since we had not specifically discussed it.

The team was polite and efficient. They wrapped the large furniture and electronics And made sure everything was secured before moving the truck. Great for moving students !”

“Absolutely amazing everything was handled professionally with care could not have asked for a better move super quick, super friendly definitely recommending to all of my friends.”

“The most efficient moving company I have had the pleasure of working with. Took proper precautions in regards to moving my fragile furniture and did so unprovoked. I would highly recommend going with Main Street Moving when moving around in the Austin/San Marcos area!”

“Incredibly helpful, friendly and quick service. I oversee a facility for the YMCA and these guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. Elevator is out of service and these gentlemen moved furniture up four flights of stairs, assembled it and finished a job in 4 hours with zero damage. They will be my go to in the future. Extremely competitive prices and the owner offers other services outside of moving! Thank you Corey and the alpha team!”

“I loved using First Choice Moving! Moving can obviously be stressful, but David checked in with me each step of the way to see if I needed anything or had any questions. The 3 guys that did the heavy lifting (Tino, Jose and Jesus) were efficient and polite. I would happily recommend them!”

“Chris and Albert did a great job. They were punctual, professional, and polite. This was a move in after having the floors refinished and they were very mindful of protecting the floors. Thank you. I would definitely use them again.”

“Common Sense Moving Company is phenomenal! They did an amazing job handling our move from South Austin to Leander. Even with some of our boxes left open and untaped, they took incredible care of all our furniture and belongings, ensuring everything arrived safely. “ATX MOVERS from the beginning were warm and worked with our evolving schedule ,from April's scheduling to Ray & Chris showing up and taking care of business. They went up 5 floors with so much of our stuff we were so impressed , no complaints just a can do attitude. Nothing but good things to say . They are careful , coordinated and the best of Texas . Thank you .”

“Since moving to Texas in 2022. I have moved four times with four different movers and these guys have got to be the best I have ever used. They’re polite. They treat your furniture like it was their own and I would use them again without a second thought.”

“I can’t speak highly enough about Matt and Dalton and Barton Springs Movers!! They were amazing and I have moved alot….definitely the best movers I have ever had!! They took care of all my items, worked so fast and got the job done just like they promised. No extra fees or charges and they moved me from a 3rd story apartment so dealt with stairs as no elevator. They are strong too. And so easy to work with. Thank you Matt and Dalton….i am so pleased if I ever move again you are my company to go to!!”

“Unicorns with a Halo!! I can’t thank the entire team enough for coming in and saving the day after a terrible experience with another moving company!! They jumped right in and took care of our cross country move with positivity, professionalism and care and I’m forever grateful for them being a bright light during an incredibly stressful and emotional time in my life!! Unicorns stand out for a reason! 💪🦄”

“I would highly recommend hiring Texan Tuff Movers to anyone in the Austin area! They helped me load my U-Haul as my family and I were moving out of our apartment. Both of the movers who I hired were courteous and respectful, and they were both impressively efficient and resilient. My apartment was on the third story and they didn't charge extra for the hassle and didn't complain about the stairs. They did a great job packing our stuff in as tightly as possible, so our boxes and furniture stayed safe during the entire six hour drive. They also were super understanding whenever we told them about a heavy and delicate table that we wanted to be carefully padded and strapped down extra tight. I would gladly trust these guys to move my belongings if I had the chance.”

“Simply the best movers, and good taste in music. 10/10 would use again.”

“I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to stay active and healthy. The members and staff create a very positive atmosphere.”

“The Fast Fietz team did a great job! They were professional and efficient and treated our items carefully. I went with Fast Fietz because I used them in their early days and remembered a positive experience. Their quality of service remains great and I’d use them again! Shout out to the team for going up and down three flights of stairs in May heat and humidity!”

“Marquiest, Moe Jr and Dante did an amazing job with our move. They were so comfortable and professional to work with- extremely friendly and timely service. They worked with us on our requests and made sure everything checked out with our expectations at every step of the move. This is the third time we’re working with Unicorn and would not do it differently anytime we need a moving service.”

“I recently used this moving company and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently.
Caleb and David were absolute rockstars. These guys went above and beyond to make sure every single item was carefully packed, protected, and moved without a scratch. They were incredibly hardworking, respectful, and had great attitudes the entire time, even offering helpful suggestions and taking extra care with my furniture and fragile items.
They made what is usually a stressful day feel completely stress free. Communication was excellent, they showed up on time, and finished the job faster than expected while still being meticulous.
If you’re looking for a reliable moving company, look no further. “I have used Unicorn multiple times and would not use anyone else. Always careful, professional, very nice to work with.”

“Michael Viktor and Nick were incredible! Strong attentive fast and extremely diligent. Huge thanks to all of you!”

“Fast and easy move”

“This is my first Google review I think ever. Let me just say that it is completely justified. Joel and Andrew were absolutely fantastic. I was quoted 4 hours and they got the job done in 2 HOURS. There was a key detail that I really appreciated and it was taking the stairs to make the job quicker. Although it required more work for them, they were all about efficiency. Everything was thought out and let me just say, they came PREPARED! Door blockers, covers, dolleys, you name it they had it. Cannot refer someone who is looking to move enough to these guys. Will definitely be using the future!”

“City of Angels Moving are outstanding!

This was my second move with them and they demonstrated that their excellent service and expert efficiency wasn’t just for the first time around.

The crew we had, which consisted of Adam, Joe, and Cam, was considerate to us, our property, and our time. They took great care in their work and went above and beyond in many ways. These guys made an otherwise stressful and strenuous move completely seamless.

5/5 - Would absolutely use them again and would request Adam, Joe, and Cam!”
