“The Moving Team was led by Robert and Tristan who both were highly professional and great to work with throughout our 2 day move. The Team was efficient, organized and careful with all our stuff. All boxes were labeled. On the unpacking side, they were amazing. They helped us put down all our large rugs, centered all the furniture as needed, put beds and entertainment center back together. It was truly a full service move. We recommend them to anyone moving in the High Country area.”

“Robert and Tristan of Appalachian Moving & Storage did an amazing job of driving my things across country in early spring and getting me safely moved into my new home in the Seattle area. App Movers had moved me in Watauga County before, so I was so glad they were able to move me all the way across the country! Great company in general, and a great moving team!”

“After interviewing several moving companies we selected Appalachian Moving. Their estimate was spot on and came in lower. The guys were first class gentleman and hard workers. Seth, Mark and team are genuinely good people! It was a pleasure working with them. They kept us informed throughout the entire process. If you need the services of a moving company in the high country this is your go to company!”

“Hands down the best moving company I’ve ever worked with and I’m 71😎 Even stored a gun safe for me for 10 months, then took it to Charlotte to my son and placed it in his house. This was on a planned , out of county moving run. Guys are the nicest and hardest working folks around. Lee Wilkie”

“The folks here were super nice, and were a huge help when I needed to rent a last-minute U-Haul!

I called around to at least half a dozen other local places, and the next closest 10 ft box truck was all the way in Jefferson city. I got in touch with the folks here, and they just happened to have one on the lot. I got it reserved over the phone, drove down to get it, and did what I needed to do.

As a bonus, I now know I can drive a 10ft box truck.

Service was fast, they made sure I understood the ins and outs of taking the U-Haul, and got me on the road real quick. I appreciate y'all!”

“Iv bought propane here for years. The lady and the gentleman are always friendly and helpful. This weekend I had to have a truck for a couple of hours to move some things. The man up front was very helpful he only had 2 trucks left when that morning the lot was full. He worked with me and called me to let me know that a truck had come back early fr me to come and get it. I will always use this place over the corporate monsters. 5 stars for me.”

“The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. Being open on a Sunday is great with me working all the time. I have had no waiting when going there to get my bottles refilled. Great little store.”

“Went to get one of my 40 pound tanks filled today and it was a quick and easy process. The owner of the company was friendly and a big help. Will be returning again!”

“This company made our move so affordable and less stressful. I would definitely recommend using them for all your moving needs.”

“I rented a U-Haul truck.. and before this I had only rented cargo trailers for my motorcycle from a few other dealers..
I was pleasantly surprised to find a U-Haul dealer right there in Colonial Heights.
Business owner was very friendly, and made the experience easy and smooth.
The van ran well, and rode smoothly too.
He had everything I needed to make using the 9' van rental to move my daughter a success, and explained everything, making me comfortable with the experience, answering every question.
If I need another U-Haul, Cupboard Propane will be my first choice.”

“Great service and good people. I am full time RV and go through a lot of propane in the winter. Every visit has been pleasant. Also, they fill the tank properly and don't short you. I have been to other places in the area that don't fill completely. Highly recommend.”

“Outstanding service and professionalism. As usual I will always use them again. Thanks again!!!”
