“The movers who actually do the work are great. BUT, the company is not honest!. They get you sign up for lower price estimate by excluding charges that will show up during actual move. Expect your final charges to go up 50% to 90%. They are so desperate that they will even raise the value of the insured items. When moving out, they charged $444 for transportation insurance. Then 9 months later they increased the insured value for SAME exact items 25% to charge $ 538. When we questioned these increases, they said they will get back to us, but they never did!”

“I had an excellent experience with Gentile Giant Moving Company and I will be booking them again for a second move in a few months. Andrew was the salesperson I spoke with on the phone. He answered all of my questions and made the booking process quick and smooth. He was also very funny! Dex and Dakari were my movers and they arrived early and they were extremely efficient at wrapping my furniture, loading and unloading the truck, and packing my belongings in a storage unit in a space-efficient manner. They were also very personable and easy-going. The entire process took about 2 hours less than I anticipated and thus my total bill was even lower than the already below-market estimate. I highly recommend this company!”

“UPDATE (2023): After years of searching, we finally bought a house. After my previous experience with Gentle Giant, I did not hesitate to call again. I have to give massive credit to these folks. Without even realizing it, I had booked them for the Saturday of Easter weekend. And once again, they knocked it out of the park. Even better than the first time! Between the time they arrived at our old place, transported our things to the new, and wrapped up their work, the time was roughly only 3.5 hours. That is STUNNING! On top of that, they were quick, professional, and very friendly. I absolutely loved talking with both Donny and Ricky. I am now thoroughly convinced that Gentle Giant only hires the very best, and Donny and Ricky only reinforced that. Both are amazing individuals, and I'm so glad they were the ones to conduct the move. I'd swear that both have superhuman strength. Initial Review (2021): The TL:DR version of this is simple. Gentle Giant is a company you absolutely SHOULD HIRE for your moving needs! Now the longer version. I worked with the expertise of Ryan, Zack, and Dex. All three of these gentlemen were both very professional and personable. This is a difficult balance to strike when it comes to the field of the customer service, but all three of these amazing men nailed it. Ryan called me when they were on there way and again when they were about five minutes out. We were still in the process of packing when they arrived, but it didn't discourage them. They helped out and got everything out of our old apartment in a timely manner. When we arrived at our new place roughly 100 miles away, everything was delivered in pristine condition. We were originally told this type of move couldn't be pulled off in a single day, but these three gentlemen did it. All while keeping a positive attitude the entire time. All this at half the price it cost us to move the last time around with 10x the care and quality. To sum it up, if you aren't hiring the services of Gentle Giant for all of your moving needs, you're doing it wrong. If we ever need to move again, they will be the first call I make.
