Used a few months ago to move things from basement to storage unit and was told they would do the move back after construction finished for same price. Then was just told because of it being summer the "same price" went from $520 to $1050 including $600 for the use of his trailer. and when I objected was called me an SOB in their email reply. They knew in March when they did first move the return would likely be in June when he said it would be the same.. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Addressing your reply and to set the record straight..the "heated exchange" was a single email where I expressed my disappointment at not honoring your previous commitment and there was no cursing or name calling etc on my part, Follows: >>>.Sorry but I do not understand. I reached out on June 13th and you take this long to get back at over twice the price promised? You are charging me more for the trailer alone that the entire job was. It has put me ins a bad spot A little more I could understand, but over twice the price??? Very disappointed <<< YOU used the SOB as a reply and second my statement of pricing differences is spot on: >>>I would need you to understand that I would have to charge you my normal rates for summer peak season rates. My 3hr minimum with my trailer is $600 and $150 hourly. I am also busy in the morning hours on June 27th. I am sorry for telling you that I would give you the same rate but you caught me in a busy time. I also didn't charge you for going over the 3hr minimum on your last move. Let me know if you have any questions."

Amin and his crew were incredibly helpful and able to accommodate a last-minute change to our moving schedule, securing a 3-man team for us with 24 hours' notice on a very busy weekend. They handled our somewhat complex apartment moveout (long hallways, multiple elevators) with no problems and were very professional. We appreciated their flexibility and great communication around a last-minute job!

I sought out Alliance Movers because they had good reviews, and I paid a premium for their services (4x the rate of the cheapest option). I expected quality service, and items to be packed with care and attention. However my experience was anything but. Items were tossed in boxes with no thought. My two U Boxes were packed with fragile things heaped atop fragile things. My two U Box containers were packed so poorly, that we ran out of space before fitting all my things. I had to repack one of the U Box containers after they left in order to fit the remaining items. When I unpacked after the move, several items were damaged. Two lamps broken, two antique end tables severely damaged, an antique dresser received a giant scratch, and several smaller items were also damaged. This is a budget moving option masquerading as a high quality service. Would not recommend.

Movers arrived in a timely manner and were efficient and careful with our personal items.

We just used Alliance this week for a third time. Moving my daughter from between two apartment projects. Alliance did a great job with the move. Always courteous, on time and a good value. As I said in prior review, we will use them again in the future.
