Just a tremendous experience. We moved out of two, 1bedroom apartments into one 2 bedroom apt. River City Moving took both jobs, combined them into one and did a marvelous job. My girlfriend and I hired River City to move us on 5/9/26! We were referred to them by some friends who had also hired them several years back and loved them. I can sincerely say that we had the same experience! Our movers, Haydon and Jackson, were kind and personable, quick, thorough, careful, and understanding during the few moments we had mishaps on OUR end. They were very responsive via email prior to the move for my ridiculous number of questions. They also are LGBTQ+ friendly (we confirmed this prior to the move) and we never felt uncomfortable or treated differently by them in the slightest. We would recommend them to any Chattanooga locals and appreciate them for making sure that we had much less to worry about on our moving day.

They were friendly and kept working the whole time, and even made sure my big TV got to where it was going safely. Our movers worked efficiently. They were polite and professional. However, I was disappointed that they did not move all of our belongings. One of their trucks was not large enough for a 4/3 home. Be sure to inquire about reserving 2 trucks to avoid the situation that we faced. We appreciated the owners efforts in remedying the situation.
