Moving company reviews in Austin

“1Source moving is a great company! My friend recommended them to me. I have used them twice now and both times were a great experience. They are very quick! They are also cheaper than other companies I compared quotes with. If you want a quick and affordable move, this is the company you want. I’ll use them again for my next move”

“Our move was across the country with a warehouse stop while waiting for closing on our new home. The delivery persons were so jovial and helpful. They worked efficiently and placed everything where directed. There was one item that had been damaged in transit but they let me know, showed me photos of it and explained it would be repaired and delivered later. Shortly afterwards a representative called from the company to reassure me they have professional furniture repair staff to make the repairs and would contact me when ready for delivery. It was a small repair but I appreciated they took the initiative to repair as soon as it was identified. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism”

“Come and Take it Moving is the best in the business. Moving is stressful but we have used this moving company four times and they go above and beyond every single time. We had the two man team of Justin and Ryan and to say they delivered a stress free experience would be an understatement. Hard working men who are focused on getting your belongings wrapped with blankets and delivered without a single blemish. I refer this company to all my . I am in the home painting business and many of my clients have used Come and Take it and had amazing experiences to tell me about as well. We appreciate a good experience and we will always be a loyal customer.”

“The guys showed up on time and were careful with everything. Really good service.”

“The guys were quick and respectful! Great price as well. Will definitely book them again.”

“It was a pleasure to work with Olympia. Candy was with us the whole move once Rebecca got us started. They both were patient, helpful and informative. I felt confident that Candy was there to help with any questions I had and to make sure the process went smoothly. Matt and Sean who picked up our boxes, etc in Austin were reassuring and helpful as were Joe and Tae who unloaded our things in Virginia. Tae maneuvered the truck up and down our little mountain road magnificently. I can honestly highly recommend them all. And, will certainly use them again when we complete the move with the rest of our furniture and artwork.”

“These guys were awesome! Glad we had them!”

“We have moved across the country SIX times. 1Source Moving has been our BEST experience to date. The movers are good natured family men who work hard and care about protecting your belongings. I had all my cherished possessions marked and separated, everything arrived in one piece. And you won’t be able to find a better price. But, it’s not about the money, it’s about the reliability. After all the moves we’ve experienced, I whole heartily recommend Andy and the boys for a smooth easy, friendly move.”

“The movers arrived on time and were professional, accommodating and efficient. I would highly recommend.”

“A & J Moving and Contracting, LLC is hands down the best moving company in Austin! Joey Melgoza and his team have been moving my family for nearly 20 years, and this is our fifth move with them—there’s a reason we keep coming back! This family-owned business is built on honesty, reliability, and top-notch service. Every move has been handled with care, professionalism, and efficiency. Joey and his crew always go above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free. If you need a moving company you can trust, A & J Moving is the way to go. Highly recommend!”

“This is the second time in 8 years we have used Olympia and my husband and I highly recommend them. The first time was for a big move and just recently we used them for a smaller one, both coast to coast. From our first consultation, Adam Carter and his team have shown themselves to be responsive, professional and easy to work with. If we have to, we will certainly use them again!”

“Great guys all around. They found defects in the furniture before even delivering two different times, saving me the hassle of trying to return a heavy marble table top. They made any adjustments to move things where we wanted without a problem. Would happily use them again.”

“Amazing experience from start to finish. Truly above and beyond! Will never use anyone else, and I'll be recommending them to all of my real estate clients.”

“We’ve used Come and Take It Moving for two long distance moves and they have been exceptional both times. Reasonably priced, excellent communication, they work quickly and are very friendly and professional. Definitely recommend!”

“AMF is absolutely the best in the business. My wife has been an interior designer for 15 years and worked with countless receiving companies. Too often you find these services to be careless, little attention to detail, rude, etc. AMF has the most wonderful staff with a high level of detail in their work. Prompt inspection photo emails, courteous drivers/installers, great admin team. Highly recommend for anybody looking for a new trade partner for the final leg. 10/10”

“Just recently used 1Source to move my home to a 3rd floor apartment and they were amazing! They made sure my furniture was wrapped up and protected. I highly recommend for your next move!!”

“⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ All around a very positive experience. For some reason my pantry was sent to them for delivery instead of FedEx delivering themselves. Little did I know it would be a blessing. The lady that reached out to schedule the delivery was very nice, proactive and responsive. The two guys that completed the delivery, Bennie and Johnny, they were courteous and took great care with the delivery itself. I’m one happy camper!”

“Exceptional Service Every Time! We can't say enough great things about Justin and his crew. Atomic has moved us three times, and each experience has been flawless. They are consistently on time, incredibly accommodating, and provide top-notch service from start to finish. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“I tried to do this back in November of “24 but i couldn’t find it on here… But they moved me from Indy to Austin… Super professional, efficient, they even set up all my furniture when we got to our new home!!! I highly recommend these guys I’m pretty sure they can move you to and from anywhere!!! Thanks again to Josh B. and his team”

“I have used C&L for three moves, and the most recent was from Texas to Missouri. I was out of the country, so Josh and his crew did everything for me, from packing, disposing, caring for my plants, transporting. They are always professional and can handle my oversized couch. They dropped my stuff at several locations, as I requested. They are the absolute best. I would use them every time. Highly recommended. You will be delighted!”

“This is why we like to support local and family owned businesses ! This company is by far one of the best we have ever used and we have moved quite a few times with work and business and we have had some bad experiences! They moved us from Indiana to Austin TX. and even after that long drive the respect for our belongings and for us was impeccable. And the ease of unpacking was so much better than the last place we went through as you can see from the photos! I can’t say enough about this company! They were not only on time, but arrived early waiting patiently on us with no rush they were so personable and professional at the same time. I will most def use them if we have another move! Hopefully we do not, but if we do, I KNOW who I’m calling! I just can’t give enough props to this family owned business!! They really made this hard process so much easier especially after dealing w other companies that just did not care!”

“As an Interior Designer for over 40 years, I couldn't be more impressed with Austin Forward. I have used them for projects in Horseshoe Bay and they have been incredible to work with. Their staff, receiving, and delivery services are first class.I highly recommend them! Trumps Interiors Fort Worth Texas”

“Had a good experience. McKay and Daniel Arriaga were very professional. They packed everything properly and was careful while moving.”

“Stress-free, absolutely! They arrived early, we walked through the house to show what we needed, they asked questions, they then told the helpers what was to be done and got to work. They all were professional & polite (responded with yes/no ma'am). I definitely, highly recommend this trustworthy company!!”

“We just moved from Midland to New Braunfels yesterday, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing team at Come and Take It! From start to finish, they made what could have been a stressful process so much easier. Not only did they offer us an unbeatable price compared to other moving companies, but their dedication, attention to detail, and helpfulness were truly top-notch. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and friendly moving company, look no further than Come and Take It!”

The entire process was straightforward and went smoothly. Everything was carefully packed and nothing was damaged during the move. I will use them again when we move our stuff back in.”

“They were on time and did a great job. The move actually was less expensive than their original estimate.”

“Moving was a weight lifted off my shoulders due to their speed and efficiency.”

“My moving was scheduled at the end of the day. The appointment was delayed due to the first client not being clear on the amout of moving needed. However, I am very pleased with the two movers that helped me. They are very friendly, caring, and attentive to the needs during the move. For people who have not eaten all day, their level of willingness to meet my need was excellent. I would recommend this moving company.”

“The price was phenomenal, they got things done very quickly, and we got to spend the day joking around with the crew. Great people, incredible service, would recommend to anyone.”

“Very good movers and installed the bed frame. Highly recommend”

“EDC is simply the best in the biz. We Run a cabinet company (Cabinet IQ) that works with many shippers both long haul and last mile, and EDC does exactly what we need them to without exception. Timely accurate updates delivered with a smile, and extreme flexibility with inevitably shifting delivery dates for our customers. I have enjoyed everyone I've worked with but especially Kiera Rash who really knows her stuff and knows what we need from a delivery company to get our cabinets delivered on schedule with every part present and undamaged. Highly recommend”

“Scott and his team worked really hard to get me setup in my new place. We moved 5 hours away and moved into a 3rd story apartment. Scott brought a team of movers and we were loaded and unloaded in no time. They also price fairly. We were happy with the service and the price. Good people.”

“Awesome delivery company”

“Friendly and family owned”

“Dre and JR were awesome! They arrived on time, they were professional and very kind. The bed they delivered and I installed is beautiful!”

“Atomic Movers recently moved a dear 80+ year old lady friend at the Wesleyan on Williams Dr ., Georgetown. They were prompt, dedicated to the utmost care of her valuable collections, furnishings, and placed all items in her new apartment as she wished . Each mover was truly kind and thoughtful to her, but more importantly, very respectful . This could have been a difficult transition for her, but once they finished, she was elated by all they accomplished. I have used this fine company twice, and will in Nov. to relocate our daughter. They are worth more than they charge, and have huge hearts for helping others. My friend felt blessed by their efforts, and so did I.”

“I got quotes from multiple places, some wanting to charge almost $600 for 2 hours! Chaparral quoted me less than half that and came out the very next day. I only had a handful of bigger pieces of furniture I needed moved into storage. Everything I needed moved was all carefully wrapped and hauled out from my second floor apartment and the guys moved it all into my 3rd floor storage unit. From the moment they got to my apartment until they finished and left it only took them 1.5 hours. I can now pack up the rest of my stuff with less clutter and knowing all my heavy and large pieces are already safe in storage. This has been a stressful time and they helped out a lot. Not only great at what they do, but friendly, professional, and respectful of my things. I would recommend Chaparral Moving to anyone, 10/10!”

“I have been working with Blue Ribbon moving for many years. I started out in senior living and had a lot of my senior living clients use Blue Ribbon to move them out of their homes of many years into our community. The crew were so kind and professional with older adults. I own two restaurants and have used Blue Ribbon for multiple projects including SXSW along with moving my own home. I ‘ve had a great experience with this moving company for years! Manny and his team are great!”

“These guys are the best in the biz! Super pro and always easy to work with.”

“This company did a fantastic job of sound production on the gig I was playing. Sound check took 5 minutes because everyone involved had their act together. Numerous people commented to me that the sound at front of house was very good. I could even tell that from stage. I’d be happy to work with meshed up any time David Pulkingham”

“The movers were fantastic. So professional and courteous. I truly appreciated the call the day before to give a window and the call to say that they were on the way that was within that window. Great job all around.”

“In my glowing review of Greater Austin Moving & Storage from 18 months ago I vowed to use them again the next time I had a need. Well today was that day and the team once again exceeded expectations across the board. Professionalism, communication, punctuality, quality, interpersonal skills, cost.... They are simply the best!”

“These guys are amazing. Showed up on time to move furniture between 3 properties in a single day. They were friendly, professional and unbelievably careful. Everything was wrapped and caution was used to maneuver through doorways, on and off the truck, etc. We had some antique pieces involved, so were extremely pleased with the level of care these guys used with every item. No damage and an amazing amount accomplished in a day! Highly recommend.”
