On a shared BTU account, the primary account holder is responsible for the full monthly payment, not just a share.
Weekly trash and curbside recycling
The City of Bryan collects residential trash Monday through Thursday. Each home gets one 95-gallon container, emptied once per week.
Trash service starts through a BTU account. A new home with no container can reach the Public Works Call Center at 979-209-5900.

Once a week, residents can set out large items such as furniture, appliances and large tree branches for collection, which runs Monday through Friday.
Items can go curbside starting 48 hours before the scheduled day and must be out by 7 a.m. (6 a.m. June through August). Bulky waste and brush go in separate piles, and each residence is limited to 22 cubic yards or one truck load per week.
Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners are charged a fee for removal and certification that the chlorofluorocarbons have been evacuated, unless pre-certified. Residents may take them to Twin Oaks Landfill instead.
Household chemicals are not collected at the curb, and a homeowner can be cited for leaving them there.

The City of Bryan has a Resident Resources page for newcomers, with links on utilities, trash and recycling, pet owners, education, transportation, permits and more.
