My experience with Millennial Movers was one of the most unprofessional delivery experiences I have ever witnessed.
Millennial Movers was the company that arrived with our household goods at the end of our interstate move from Pennsylvania to Texas. By the time they showed up, our belongings had already been transferred between multiple trucks, but any hope that our items would finally be handled with care disappeared almost immediately.
The crew handled our belongings recklessly and with little regard for the fact that these were people’s personal possessions. We watched items being tossed, dragged, and carelessly unloaded from the truck. Furniture that had survived years of ownership arrived scratched, dented, and damaged after being in their possession.
The most unbelievable moment happened right in front of us. One of the workers specifically informed the driver that they were about to move a television. Despite knowing exactly what the item was, the driver proceeded to drop it directly in front of us, destroying it. There was no confusion about what was being handled. They were told it was a television and still dropped it.
As we unpacked, we also discovered missing items, including shelves for a bookshelf unit, camp chairs, and other household belongings. Given the number of transfers our shipment went through and the careless way the delivery was handled, it is difficult to have confidence that our belongings were ever treated with any level of professionalism.
What makes this even more frustrating is that we have photographs of the truck, photographs of the damage, and witnesses who observed the delivery process. This is not a misunderstanding or a difference of opinion. We personally watched our property being mishandled.
Moving is stressful enough without having to stand in your driveway watching your belongings get damaged in real time.
Based on our experience, I would never trust Millennial Movers with my household goods again and would strongly caution others before hiring them.”
