“Make sure you get quotes from other companies instead of blindly following Movie Buddy. I was impressed with them until I wasn't. They do not do the moving, they contract movers. Make sure you understand this--the movers are contracted to work for Moving Buddy. The movers contracted were great! Unfortunately, we received a bill from the movers four days prior to Moving Buddy and thought it was our final bill. Moving Buddy was nearly a 30% markup from the movers final bill even though the quote did not match the bill. A quote is just that, a quote. It is meant to be adjusted. The transparent charges aren't really transparent--make sure you understand every single charge. I sent multiple emails contesting these claims and could not make headway, otherwise I would not have written this review.”

“Don't bother. Upon answering the questionnaire online, I received a quote in a timely manner. Spoke to Kayla at the office who wanted more details in the form of pictures. Let her know that even if we are $300-400 away I would like to book. She requested pictures in the meantime. After taking a bunch of pictures and emailing them to her, she insisted on sending someone over for a formal visit to make sure they don't misquote. Gave my availability for our onsite. Kayla was going to check with Justin. Called back again, was told "I never told her the times I was available." Again let her know my availability. Called back day of visit, only for her to tell me "they were waiting on me." Secured a visit with the on site person Justin for later in the day against everything that was happening. Took time off work to meet with Justin, only to be told they do not have availability. No one thought to look at a calendar? Now I have 10 days to find a mover. They are also listed as Moving Ahead Movers on their email. I can only guess this is to escape bad Google reviews. Awful communication all around.”
