“We were overall really happy with our move. The movers were super respectful and efficient and we're definitely glad we decided to use Sheridan Brothers.
However, unfortunately the movers weren't able to fit everything in the truck so we had to either pay a significant amount extra, or make extra trips ourselves. We did a video tour of the home before hand, so I would have hoped that this concern would have been identified earlier. We also had one table that was significantly damaged in the move.”

I had a small move when I originally spoke to Gabrielle. She assured me no job was too small. I figured that I would reserve to hold the spot but I would probably move everything myself. Gabrielle was absolutely awesome to speak with. Confident in her business knowledge but sensitive to understand how much moving sucks. lol
The day before the scheduled move, I had moved most of the boxes myself. I just needed a couple of larger items that I couldn’t move myself. I called and spoke to Andrew. Again, so helpful and professional! He reassured me that they can still do the move. The price came down slightly but I get it, they have overhead and I wanted pros.
Day of the move, I got a call from Edward. He said they just got done with their job a little early and could be at my location in 25 minutes. Then I got a text and could track their drive to my apartment! So cool.
When the guys got there, they were awesome! Edward and Bob took over. True pros. They both introduced themselves. Edward had me sign the paperwork and off they went. No BS, they just got to work.
The entire move took about an hour. No stress, just good vibes. Did I overpay for a simple move? Maybe. But I got pros and had a great experience.

Rochester moving and storage has provided me with the easiest moving experience i have had in a very long time. They were willing to move me when it was below freezing, in the snow. The owner, Dave, was very understanding when I asked a million questions. And I cannot praise Dave's team enough; these guys are solid.
I was fully prepared to help them, but they had a crew of 6 (very friendly, professional, and sweet) young men come out. I ended up just standing there in awe while they carried things I struggled to even shuffle across the floor. I don't know what these dudes are eating, but it definitely builds muscle and stamina. They didn't even seem to get winded going up and down stairs.
When I was finished being impressed with their physical feats, I was impressed with their skill. Nothing broken, scuffed, or shattered like in previous moves. None of the walls got scratched or damaged. They moved around narrow hallways, low ceilings, and tricky turns like magic. They even worked well with my somewhat questionable packing skills.

“We used Tony Caccamise Moving in 2022 for a move into a townhouse in Penfield and were so pleased that we hired them again in Dec. 2025 for a move from that townhouse to a large historic home in Rochester. Both moves were well handled, but this most recent move was truly exceptional and deserves the highest possible rating.
From the first contact with the office to the final piece placed in the house, the entire experience was smooth and professional. We underestimated the volume to be moved by a wide margin, especially the number of boxes, but each call back to the office was met with flexibility and courtesy.
Our movers, Neil and Blake, were outstanding. They were experienced, careful, and highly skilled, handling a wide variety of furniture and household items with great attention and care. Despite having far more to move than expected, they packed the truck efficiently and worked steadily throughout a very long day that ended close to midnight. UPDATE: Couple years later and who did I call? You got it. Joe, Mark, and Gary showed up and did a 10-star job yet again. The only way my couch would come out of the old house is through the window, and we had to take apart the entire sliding glass door to get my desk out. Took them like 5 minutes.

“E-Z movers came on time and were ready to work. I had them move a large sectional sofa from the first floor to the basement. They were upfront and said that the corner piece may not fit through the basement door, but they would do what they could. With three guys and some creative maneuvering they were able to squeeze it through the door and down the stairs.
