I can't say enough good things about Austex Moving. It was a true pleasure meeting Jim and Jose. Jim made communication so easy, from estimate to delivery, and the entire process went flawlessly. I was able to communicate with Jim via yelp, text, and phone call. All of my questions were answered and answered faster than expected. The estimate was better than fair and there were no surprises. Jim and Jose were punctual and took the time to let me know they were on their way. My move was from Austin to the Houston/Gulf Coast area. Having used movers quite a lot (LA, SF and NYC) - Austex is a winning combo for Austin. While the reservation method left me a bit nervous at first because it was so low key (exchanged a brief phone call and a text confirmation, no paper work or deposit), Austex showed up on time and eager to move. Our realtor recommended that we contact Austex Moving once we decided to relocate from Austin to Georgetown. So after determining the closing date of our house we scheduled our tentative moving date/time with Jim Clark. Easy peasy, everything was set. CJ and his crew of two arrived right on time. After giving them the "lay of the land" tour they quickly began loading our stuff into their trailer. CJ organized the trailer while the other guys moved stuff from the house to the trailer. They took great care to minimize risk of damage in transport and generally treated our stuff like it was theirs. I certainly appreciate that very much. Reese and Jose were also very fun and personable guys who seemed to really enjoy their work and helped us during a stressful time while helping us take care of our needs. Highly recommend Austex Moving.
