Incredible people. I called to get a quote and they went above and beyond just to help me save as much time and money as possible for a local move. They are honest folks and I would absolutely hire them if I was moving closer to their area!!

These men were kind, fast and efficient! I called Cliff to have my pod unloaded and luckily I called in advance, he had a spot put me on the books. I had a great experience with Baby Boomers – I would recommend them and utilize them again when it comes time to move.

Cliff and the crew were such a blessing! They were reasonably priced and very flexible when my closing was delayed unexpectedly at the last moment. They were all very friendly and took great care of my items. Baby Boomers took what was a very stressful time and gave me peace of mind knowing they were taking care of the moving. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a moving company!

"Warning: Hired Baby Boomers Moving LLC to pack my furniture, and it was a costly mistake. They didn’t shrink-wrap to protect my items. Several pieces of my furniture were damaged during the move, and I have photographs documenting the damage. Texted the owner to fix it—caught him in multiple lies (documented)—but he blamed us for driving the truck, though they packed it. I paid in full and tipped two movers out of pity for working in brutal heat, not satisfaction, yet he flung that back as ‘proof’ I was happy. No signed contract or written agreement provided—nothing to secure their responsibility or protect me as a customer. Worst part? He sold me on trust, claiming shared Christian values, then mocked my faith when I complained. In this Bible Belt community, that’s a low, uncalled-for blow. No accountability, just excuses. Steer clear and insist on a signed contract elsewhere." ***Response to Baby Boomers. In reference to your response to my review. *Insurance and Damages: My goal has never been to seek new items, but rather to have the items damaged during the move repaired or replaced. *Timeline of Reporting: The delay in posting this review. We were focused on addressing immediate challenges. Initially, I emailed you directly about the damages, hoping we could resolve the issue privately. However, our concerns weren’t addressed, which delayed further action. The review was posted 7 months later (not nine) because, after unsuccessful resolution attempts, I wanted to help others avoid similar issues. *Lack of a Signed Contract: As mentioned in my review, no signed contract was provided. A contract could have specified responsibilities like shrink-wrapping furniture for protection—which wasn’t done. *The Unloading in FL. I trusted that my items had been packed securely. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced, as the damages became evident afterward. *Payment and Tips: I paid in full and tipped 2 of your movers, the tips were given out of sympathy in brutal heat, not as a sign of satisfaction with the job. *Addressing Inaccuracies in Your Statement: *Regarding the Trailer and Fees: You stated about renting a trailer, that I mentioned being tight on money, and that I asked if your team could load it without additional fees, which you stated that you agreed to do. This isn’t accurate. Here’s what occurred: We originally rented an 8-ft trailer. You, the owner, advised us that our items wouldn’t fit and recommended upgrading to a 12-ft trailer, which we did. I never said we were tight on money or requested free loading. On the contrary, you charged an additional $300 for loading the 12-ft trailer, which wasn’t disclosed until after the truck and trailer were loaded. This lack of transparency reinforces why I highlighted the absence of a signed contract. My original quote was $780 (flat rate), $100 extra for 4/5 movers, and $200 to load a 8-ft trailer, totaling $1,080. However, I was charged $1,380, that includes the extra $300 for the 12-ft trailer. Additionally, despite paying $100 for 4 movers, only 2 movers were present for most of the move. *Regarding the Timeline and Location: You claimed I waited over a month to report damages after moving. This is incorrect: It was a period of 24 days, not over a month. I’m disabled, and my husband’s work schedule delayed our ability to unpack and fully assess the damages. *Regarding Photos of Damages: You stated that you asked if I took pictures of damaged items before unloading and that I said no, I didn’t think to do so. This isn’t accurate: In our text messages (which I have as proof) I did not respond to your text about photos. I do have photos of the damages taken after unloading,. *My Moving Experience: I’ve completed several long-distance moves using trucks and trailers, and I’ve never encountered this level of damage or difficulty resolving issues. This suggests the damages likely stem from how the items were packed and secured, not the transport itself.

Response from Baby Boomers Moving ( Local Moves)

This customer and her husband watched every item being loaded in the truck. Yes, they were so happy with the way we loaded the truck they gave each guy a tip. This lady forgot to mention this part, all of their items would not fit in a 26 ft U-Haul truck. She had her husband go get a12 ft U-Haul trailer. She informed me they were tight on money and ask if my guys could load the trailer without additional fees. I agreed and we loaded the trailer free of charge. After bouncing a U-Haul truck and trailer from Springfield Missouri to Naples Florida, she waited over one month to reply about any damages. Just like this post, she waited 9 months to give a negative review. At the time we had insurance with Crowley Insurance on Battlefield road in Springfield Missouri. Workman's comp and 1 million general liability. She gave me a list long enough to supply a new home with furniture and appliances. She said, you have insurance so why don't you let me call your insurance company and have them replace all these items. We had the same insurance at the time of her move and we still have the same insurance company. I feel these people that told me money was tight, wanted me or my insurance company to furnish they're home in Naples Florida. If I felt in any way my guys did a bad job, I would have turned it into my insurance company. I informed this customer that if she felt so strongly about us damaging her items, she should get an attorney. She didn't do that because she knew she was being dishonest and the truth would come out. She had a another moving company unload the truck in Naples. I asked her if she took some pictures of any damaged items before they were unloaded and she said no, she did not think about doing that. As everyone can see from our previous reviews, we work extremely hard to take care of everyone's belongings. This might help this customer and anyone that might be reading this post. If you're going several thousand miles, pay a company with air ride shocks $15,000 to $20,000 and have the same guys that load your items take your items in your new home. Please don't try to get a 20,000 move taken care of for $1300. And then try to have a hard-working company buy you new furniture and appliances. After reading this you can probably see why she was at least smart enough to not hire an attorney. One last thing, our company helps hundreds of seniors on fixed incomes, get moved at a very affordable price. Yes, this is the customer all of us in the real world know about, 1 or 2 out of 100.
