Midas Movers

I have used Midas for two full moves, and two moves of substantial amounts of furniture and other items from friends and relatives who were downsizing. I will not use any other moving company.<br><br>The core reasons are care and courtesy.<br><br>Regarding care, they pack up items more carefully than competitors. Every furniture item gets wrapped sufficiently to avoid damage. This generally means an inner layer of blankets, and an outer layer of plastic wrap and tape.<br><br>Here's an example of them going the extra mile with respect to care. At one point they had to lay down a bookshelf to position it for carrying out. Before doing so, they laid down a blanket to protect both the floor and the bookshelf. The level of care they take with furniture items is done consistently, exceeds the level of care and precaution I have seen taken by competitor moving companies, and has resulted in four moves with no damage.<br><br>Regarding courtesy, they consistently show enthusiasm even when I'm asking them to do things that are maybe on the outer edge of what would typically be included in a move, but are still incredibly valuable and not something I could have done on my own. Specifically, they have been courteous and enthusiastic about assisting with positioning furniture once everything is at the destination, repositioning furniture to incorporate the new furniture, and the challenging task of getting a rug under a bed. In one occasion the crew lead noticed a problem with a drawer and just went ahead and fixed it!<br><br>I recommend to anyone to use Midas above other movers in Philadelphia.

midas team were great from start to finish. when a member of the team had to leave for a pre-scheduled appointment, another employee was able to come in to help. there was a small ding in an inexpensive piece of furniture, but we were reimbursed for it. great team, would hire again except we'll never move again lol!

We had a complicated move from Delco to a NYC apartment building with all kinds of tight spaces and rules and regulations - further complicated by it's happening on a rainy day - and Midas handled the whole thing magnificently. Justin was a pleasure to deal with and managed it all beautifully. The crew was careful, efficient, absolutely professional and - icing on the cake - even personable. We had such a great experience with Midas! We ended up using them again a few weeks after our initial move for some large antique funiture pieces and both times they were excellent.
