Paulys Movers

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM. Dishonest and no integrity, details are below: I hired Pauly’s Movers to move a standard upright piano from one local residence to another; the move date was 19 June 2026. The movers were completely incompetent. The “team lead” appeared to be under the influence of marijuana and was even wearing a marijuana-themed t-shirt. The movers broke the front right leg off the piano trying to get it off the truck. Then they asked my son for help moving the piano. There were three movers, but they felt they needed, and thought it was appropriate to ask for help from the customer. The whole thing was shenanigans. I called the operations manager, “Bob S.,” and he told me there would be a discount on the total price, and that he would send me information on how to make a claim for the damage. Seemed legit at first; he seemed to care and said the right things. Of course, I never received anything, and the company charged my credit card for the full amount of the move, which was close to $800. I followed up multiple times over the phone and email, and they repeated that they would “make it right,” and send me the required information to make a claim, but I continued to receive nothing. Eventually they stopped responding altogether. I have seen multiple bad reviews and Reddit forums of people who have had similar experiences. I wish I had seen those reviews before I hired this company. They are very shady and will not work with me to claim the damage or partially refund the cost for their terrible, unprofessional service.

Awful company! DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Reserved them for set date, paid deposit and they never showed up. Called when they never showed up and they transfered to voicemail. Called 15 times and was sent straight to voice mail! Luckily was able to find a last minute company. We were on a time crunch and this company made it very hard for us in an already stressful situation!!

Don’t do it. Just don’t do it. Go with a different company.

If you are reading this, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I had this company scheduled to handle my move for over a month and this company was not available the day of my move and then rescheduled after I had to call them over 15 times to get in contact with someone. I spent close to two full days waiting for the movers to arrive to my storage unit. This company was not honest about their availability nor were they interested in making things right. I requested 3 men and a 26 foot truck. They sent 2 men and a 16 foot truck and then tried to charge me for 3 men and the 26 foot truck. Do yourself a favor and hire a more reputable company. Do not waste your time with the dishonesty of a company like paulys movers.

The movers, Josh, Jamal, and Anthony were efficient, friendly, and helpful. When they arrived Josh explained from beginning to end on how the company does their moves. The company/management itself needs to prioritize a little better. Josh, Jamal, and Anthony got sent to another job before ours that was unable to be completed the day prior. So because of that, they were late to us and had to work until 930pm... which they did without any complaints.
