They took great care of my things moving in and out of both places, they helped us stage the furniture once we got it set up and they were very efficient and friendly. I agree with every other review, Mauro and his team are the best. Book them now! They’re priced very competitive, they’re extremely efficient and they’re really nice too-they helped me fix a piece of my furniture that I had previously broken so it could be used again after my move. They’re awesome and they even hauled away some junk for me. I would recommend them 10/10!!

STOP your search now. I requested quotes from 12+ different moving companies in Chicago, and the experiences ranged from "expensive" to "ridiculous." Other places were quoting over $1k for a 1-bedroom 4-mile move, adding on fees for "moving prep kits" (blankets and dollies) and 6-hour time estimates. Pay Less Moving provided the most competitive quote for a 3-man crew and was incredibly responsive via email. One of the owners, Mauro, handled the coordination and ended up helping with the move itself. We moved from a 3rd floor apartment (with elevator) to a high-rise on the 15th floor. The team actually arrived early, wrapped everything quickly and carefully. They handled a large, fragile mirror and sectional without any issues, and even packed our TV securely in their own box. Halfway through the move, our building’s elevator BROKE. This should have been a huge disaster for our timeline, especially with a strict loading-dock reservation at the new building. Instead, the crew went into problem-solving mode. When we finally arrived at the new place with only 15 minutes left in our dock window, they went into overdrive. They moved in smart batches and somehow got everything up to the 15th floor and into the apartment in about 45 minutes, even reassembling our bed and sectional. The team finished the entire move in 2.75 hours, only 15 minutes passed the time booked. It’s rare to find movers who are this efficient and genuinely pleasant to work. In a city with thousands of options, save yourself the research and hire Pay Less. I cannot recommend Mauro and his team highly enough and will absolutely be using them again for future moves.

Best movers ever!! Mauro and his team were so quick, efficient, and easy to work with. It was my first time using movers and Mauro answered all of my many questions, provided an accurate quote, and then even arrived early! They even offered to help bring stuff to my mom's car. I used a pod moving service and they were able to pack all of my things into the container with expert spacial reasoning skills. (If I tried to do it on my own, it would have taken me hours compared to their super quick speed.) The quality of their work is very high and their prices are super budget friendly. I would absolutely hire them again if I was still in Chicago. They're also independently owned and operated, so it was great to support a local small business.
