Rainier Overseas Movers

We used Rainier Overseas Movers for an international move in 2025. Due to issues with the previous company we tried, we basically had to arrange for all of our items to be loaded and stored for shipping with 3 days notice. Don was quick to help and give a quote and arranged for every thing even with such short notice. The subcontractor they used for loading and packing even went through our inventory to make sure there would be no issues with customs. Throughout the move Don kept us informed and even found a way to save on some costs for us. If we ever find ourselves needing to do another international move, we will absolutely be using Rainier again (with more notice). Highly recommended for how smooth the process was and I never had a concern that our items would not make it to us.

Don Arroyo organized our move with Rainier Overseas and was extremely professional, effective, and supportive throughout the move process. He helped us navigate all of the processes and made what could have been a very complex effort feel seamless and easy. Chuck Crosslin and his team were fantastic! We had an excellent experience with Rainier Overseas Movers for our recent shipment from the USA to Italy, and couldn't say more positive things about Chuck and his colleagues. Chuck explained everything thoroughly, and did his best to keep our costs down, despite the fact that we were sending items from two different locations and also had to have a shuttle at destination due to limited access. He was quick with each question and had nearly immediate responses, which was fantastic given we live on the east coast. (When does he sleep?!) The packing was careful and professional, and none of our breakables - including specially crated art - were damaged in transit. Additionally, the colleagues in Italy went out of their way to ensure that our shipment wasn't delayed at port nor due to a national holiday AND a transit strike in Italy upon arrival of our shipment. They took their time and unpacked all of the items that we requested, assembling tables and other furniture with care and respect. We have made several international moves, so we aren't newbies. We would rank Chuck and Rainier Overseas at the top of the list! Highly recommended.

I had a great experience using Rainier OS when I moved overseas. They were very professional, offered a competitive quote, and most importantly, everything arrived at its destination in perfect condition. We packed our belongings into a 20ft container. The packing crew were quick, great at communicating, and did an amazing job fitting everything into the container. They packed it so well that, when the container arrived, the unpackers had a tough time getting everything into a storage unit that was 20% larger in volume. I highly recommend Rainier OS to anyone considering an international move.

We recently relocated to New Zealand from the United States, and we hired Rainier Overseas Movers to transport our cargo. While it was difficult to be without our belongings, our shipment was handled expertly on both sides of the globe, and has arrived safely without any issues whatsoever. Dave was our main contact in the states. He was a patient and helpful resource. No question was left unanswered... and I asked a lot of questions! The packing team was exceptional and within 2 days, our items were packed and ready to fill a 40’ container. Additional questions that arose during transport were responded to promptly by either Dave in the USA or Teresa, the New Zealand contact. It was great to see the vessel tracking site and know where our cargo was at any given point. Once our cargo arrived in New Zealand, Teresa of World Moving and Storage became our main contact. She was as patient and kind as was David. Everything went extremely smoothly. We were very impressed with the delivery crew; they were polite, careful, and very professional. We are still unpacking boxes but so far, we have found everything to be in excellent condition. We had fine art and furnishings stored in two different cities in California and we were already overseas. Chuck at Rainier handled all of the coordination and scheduling and kept us informed of progress. Chuck stayed involved in monitoring the hand over to Gosselin Moving here on the European side.
