Thompsons moving did a great job. The drivers were on time and their work ethic was top notch. A part of the move that concerned me was paying more than the quoted amount. Overall though they did a great job.

My daughter recently relocated from Maryland to Washington, DC, and from the very first phone call to the moment the last box was set down, every single part of this experience was exceptional.<br>The pricing was fair and transparent. No surprises, no games, no bait and switch. Just an honest number from an honest company. After dealing with a previous moving company that pulled exactly that kind of nonsense, this was beyond refreshing.<br>The two gentlemen who handled the move were absolutely outstanding. They were polite, professional, and efficient in every sense of the word. These are not guys who waste your time or cut corners. They came to work.<br>Here is the moment that really said everything about the character of this crew. It was around 2pm, and they had been at it since 10 that morning. I asked one of them if they had stopped to grab something to eat. His response was simple and telling. Without hesitation he said, "No sir, we are on your clock. We will eat when we are finished." That level of professionalism and dedication is rare anywhere, let alone in the moving industry.<br>This is exactly how a moving company should operate. This is night and day from the experience I had with the last company we used. We have used Thompson Moving for both an out-of-state move and a local move. We just booked them for the third time because we have been so pleased. The movers were on time, polite, professional, and speedy. They took great care of our items and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, which we have when asked. This past spring we called to see if we could secure movers for an out of state move not expecting for anyone to be available last minute. Jacob not only fit us in, both Jacob and Rob completed the move in under the estimated time. Looking forward to working with Thompson Moving again soon.😊

Highly highly recommend. I’ve never used movers before and didn’t know what to expect. Matthew and DeShawn were experienced, patient, and just enjoyable to be around. Made a stressful process seamless. Can’t wait to use them again in the future!
