Its Community Choice Aggregation program replaces the utility as the default electricity supplier for virtually all homes and small businesses in the city, while delivery service stays with Central Hudson. Annual permits for the City's municipal parking lots cost $150 for 2026 and are linked electronically to the household's license plates, with no physical tag.

During a Snow Emergency, parking is allowed on the odd side of the street on odd calendar days and the even side on even days. Vehicles must move to the opposite side at 7:00am the next day.
