“Overall I am pretty happy with my service. The movers were kind, patient, professional and extremely courteous. The estimator on the other hand was the opposite. When I met with him he was inpatient and not friendly but I threw it to the wind. They are contracted with Mayflower and I thought it was just an overall tough guy attitude. However, he told me it was going to be two containers and I insisted it was only one, in the end my belongings did not even take up the space of one. And I kept telling him I had some very expensive items I was moving and I needed help understanding the insurance. I ended up paying approx $50 extra to double my insurance, which seems like nothing and definitely worth it but he didn’t explain it fully and the movers were not told of this and didn’t ask. So they ended up packing away items that they were supposed to delineate as high value. The office, who I had never spoken to prior to that day, assured me this was going to be ok but I guess I won’t know until the other end. I’ll update this as needed.<br><br>Yes, I would recommend this company but really make sure you understand everything. It’s confusing when you hire Mayflower, you expect Mayflower, not a smaller local company. Again, the movers were great, no complaints there!”

“at least they showed up. Contacted someone on FB marketplace to help move a large table from a trailer into a house at a country club. I have been In the Industry for 15 years. And the guys they sent to help were 20min late. No communication that they were running late. One of the guys had swim shorts, A style tank top and shoes not tied. These are 20+ million dollar homes and it looks horrible, unprofessional and makes me look bad as I was delivering to my client. It's also embarrassing when my client is answering questions from these guys like how much does this house cost or table ect....... you don't do that.... also carry tools and equipment with you as you never know what a job could need!”

“They came a day early to get a jump on the job which was a nice surprise. All downhill from there. They were careful with the kitchen items, and I was pleased. Then, came the next day. Things just stuffed into boxes without care. Antique clocks that luckily weren't damaged found amongst clothes. Jewelry boxes upside down that dumped into boxes. I am still missing a ring. We moved Aug 12th. My laptop is still missing. When called I was told "it must be in a box somewhere". They were paid to pack and unpack. Unpacking didn't happen.there are no boxes left to unpack. If you have thing you cherish, do not use this company. Period.Cost was over 4 grand.”
