We recently moved from New York to Florida and needed a reliable, high-end moving company that could provide dedicated trucks for our belongings, along with two months of climate-controlled storage. After interviewing three companies, we chose Avant-Garde, and the reason was simple. They were the only company that came to our home to personally inspect all of our furniture and accurately estimate the number of boxes required. Abby and Adi, the owner, took the time to explain every step of the process, including the packing methods, operations, storage, transportation, and delivery. We have moved several times over the years, and I have to admit that Avant-Garde provided the best packing we have ever experienced. They don't cut corners or use cheap materials. Their three-layer packing technique: cardboard protection, heavy-duty moving blankets, and shrink wrap, kept everything exceptionally well protected, including our professional home gym equipment. What truly sets Avant-Garde apart, however, is that they stand behind their work and take full responsibility. Although we chose not to purchase additional insurance because we were so impressed with their packing, we experienced an issue after the move to Florida. Adi, the owner, immediately took full responsibility and resolved the issue 100%!!! That is what a true luxury moving company does, they take pride in their work, stand behind their service, and make things right when something unexpected happens!

Edit: I just used Avant-Garde for a second move--the collection and installation of a vintage desk from a furniture restorer. Once again they did an amazing job. The desk was moved with great care and the installation was highly professional. Dino, the foreman, suggested a different mounting method to make the desk more secure and took great care to make sure it was positioned at the correct height and secure on the wall. Another great experience. Highly recommended! I had an excellent experience with Avant-Garde. I used the moving service to deliver an artwork purchased at auction and to collect another artwork from storage, and I also used the art installation service to hang both pieces. The team took great care with both pieces and I am very pleased with the service I received. I will use them again!
