INCREDIBLE! Having not moved in 12 years we were nervous about moving our four person, two bedroom family from Manhattan to Queens and possibly being swindled in some fashion based off of stories I’ve heard. But the movers (Rodney, Danny, and Washington) were absolutely wonderful, efficient, kind and approachable people. Zoe and Jelena in sales were so thorough, patient, and caring with all our questions and concerns from the first call to the last. And the pricing is so affordable as well! I cannot recommend them highly enough and am always a fan of supporting smaller “mom and pop” companies!

I had an amazing experience with Octomovers. I booked my move for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and they actually arrived early at 9:45 a.m., which immediately showed how professional and punctual they are. I was moving out of a smaller apartment, and they managed to load everything in under an hour it was honestly impressive how efficient and organized they were. On top of that, they were able to help me move during a past snowstorm, and I think everything went flawlessly. The team is quick, careful, and incredibly easy to work with. This was my second experience with Octomovers. In the summer of 2025, they packed me up for storage with an upright piano. They did an excellent job wrapping my furniture and padding the piano for storage. Later, in December of the same year, I called Octo back to help pack up my truck for the move from the NY storage unit to my home 5 hours away. Octomovers was the perfect partner for this move. I called the way they back the truck, Jenga. I know another mover would have said that my stuff couldn’t fit because they wouldn’t have taken the effort to pack the truck correctly. I had no problem driving home. The weight and balance were perfect and the movers from my local area who unpacked me the next day, commented on how easy it was to unload. I have recommended Octomovers to a few people now and I will sure to call on them if I move back to the NY area.

Moving is strenuous enough. Add on that it was my first ever move AND it was out of state. My anxiety was through the roof. However Octomovers was able to put me at ease from start to finish. You won’t find a better experience! Words cannot express how much care, attention and genuine thoughtfulness went into my move with the Octomovers Team. From obtaining a quote, calling expressing my fears about going over the number of boxes and even almost crying when I was told I couldn’t throw away any more furniture the day of the move, I was met with understanding, patience, and kindness.
