Mary, calling our crew “unprepared” after they handled the packing and additional belongings you had not prepared or disclosed is a remarkable omission from your review. **The person unprepared for the agreed move was you.** We arrived on time, equipped and ready for the inventory and services described in your video, proposal, and confirmation. We completed your move without damaging your belongings. **Your move was professionally performed under my direct supervision—Leo, the owner.** We arrived on time, handled the additional work, and completed your move without damage. In my view, the professionalism missing that day was yours: you acknowledged that you had not read the confirmation, had loose items unpacked, and then described the crew who accommodated those issues as “unprepared.” What we encountered was substantially more than you represented, with numerous loose household items still needing packing. Before performing that additional packing, we explained it to you, and **you authorized us by text to proceed.** The adjustment covered the additional materials and labor. You also disclosed a crated bedroom set purchased for your son that was waiting in the mailroom for us to collect—an entire additional room’s furniture in crated boxes that had not been included in the original pickup information. We accommodated that collection too. The approximately 100–125-yard distance between the freight elevator and loading dock had not been described beforehand. Our crew made the repeated trips, handled the additional work, and finished the job. **We accommodated your extra needs. We did not agree to work for free.** A friendly interaction does not replace an accurate inventory, completed packing, or payment for additional services. Your pricing description also leaves out essential facts. **Your boyfriend paid the company $3,975 for two separate household moves combined. You did not pay the company for your move.** Tips were additional. He is a longtime customer we have moved four times over the years and who has repeatedly praised our work. Your “$5,000+” listing fails to explain that two households were moved, giving readers a misleading impression of the charge for yours. Your accusation that we lacked “necessary policies” is a joke. You received your documentation, confirmation, and the written terms explaining what your move included. When I pointed out the unpacked items in your home and referred you to the confirmation letter, **you told me, “Oh, I didn’t even read it.”** Yet you now describe us as unprepared. You also authorized the additional packing by text. You expected us to absorb substantial extra work at no charge, as though the agreement applied to everyone except you. In my view, that is entitled, spoiled behavior. Our crew’s time, labor, and materials have value. Expecting them for free—and then calling us unprepared after we completed the work—does not make your review an accurate account of this move. **Please do not contact us for future moving services. We will not accept another booking from you.**
