“This was our first experience with having a moving company. Our moving team of Chris, Nathan and Matt were amazing! They were very professional but also personable and enjoyed meeting and helping their clients. They were super efficient and everything went smoothly. They walked thru the old house to see what needed moved and another before we left to make sure we got everything we needed. Then walked thru the new house to see where we wanted everything to go. Before they left they wanted to make sure we walked thru the new house again in case we had changed our mind about our placements. We would absolutely recommend these guys for any upcoming move! “Update: Company replied to review and of course, denied ANY responsibility liability. Facts: THEIR movers crammed boxes they were paid to move up against TV, resulting it to break. THEIR movers moved equipment (yes, disassembled by us but they were paid to move items, which subsequently hardware went missing after pickup - oddly enough after THEIR employee asked if we had any scrap metal). Save yourself the hassle and go with a reputable moving company. NEGLIGENT and CARELESS Homeowners Beware! My husband and I personally observed these hourly guys slow-walking the move ($$$) when my brother in law and sister used these guys last weekend while we helped them move. They didn’t wrap anything before loading truck and moving (red flag), a guy with an attitude walked off the job so they were short staffed and took longer to move (another red flag), then upon arrival at the new house, the movers crammed items right up to their TV - breaking it. Guy told my sister they would look into it and has not gotten back to them still, YET their team has time to respond to her Google review (since they’ve been non responsive) & try to shift blame onto them rather than take accountability. In addition, one of their movers suspiciously asked if they had any “scrap metal”. Sure enough, metal parts to some of their equipment turned up missing (items THEY were paid to move from the old house to the new house). The company tried to shift blame and say they weren’t responsible for items they didn’t move. Well, they definitely were paid to move the equipment + hardware (which went missing) and their employees definitely were the guys that crammed items THEY moved tight up against the TV at the new house, ultimately causing the damage. Whatever money you save with these guys, you’ll be sure to make up in losses for damaged property or stolen items & management appears to take no accountability for their team’s actions. OH! And it appears they flagged my sister’s honest review and took it down! WOW. Shady!”

“They worked quickly and were helpful in boxing up last minute items I didn’t get done. They provided the boxes as well. Very friendly and were willing to do whatever I needed. Accidentally boxed something that shouldnt have been and they helped find the box after it was already in the storage unit. They were very helpful. Will definitely use them again.”

They were calm (on moving day!), focused, incredibly competent at moving even large pieces down a complicated staircase. “I have moved a lot during my 18 years of military service and this was the worst company I ever dealt with. Unprofessional, unorganized, passive aggressive and dishonest. They showed up late, were not organized, and the foreman was not even on site until the afternoon. One of the crew said that the foreman and himself work out every day at a gym, and the day prior they worked all day then worked out for many hours at the gym, which is why the foreman is only driving the truck that day. He himself is having a hard time working due to muscles being too sore. So. Instead of 3 man crew, two people were carrying one box at a time very slowly, and they did not even unload all my household goods until past 2 pm. Then the foreman was arguing with me about how he would just leave all my boxes without unwrapping, which is a service included and PAID FOR. I ended up calling thr government moving coordinator which at that point the foreman said he would unpack and take the debris. They were also paid for another day but apparently the company has already booked them for the sane day, so the crew ended up unpacking until past 6pm, and clearly passive aggressive as they dumped my shoes into pits and pans, laid down all my glassware on the floor while neatly stacking up cans of Rotelles that I accidentally got packed, and shoved my books spine up on the side of my couch. They did not even complete assembly of all delivered goods. Too bad that the lowest rating is one star, because i feel that is way better than the review they deserve.”

“Steve and his team were very friendly and accomodating and the cost was quite reasonable. We needed to have my mother's 70 year old Steinway moved from Northern California to Indianapolis and they worked with us for a timely pickup and then stored the piano for us until our new home in Indy could accomodate it. The loading and unloading teams were extremely professional and courteous and handled our piano with superb attention. After 3 moves I hope my mom's piano won't need another mve but I know who to call if it does!”

“The movers at A1 were highly professional, courteous, and respectful. Jess, in the home office, communicated a 3 hour time window to me the day before. On the delivery day, Isaac called to let me know when they were on their way. I was very impressed by their communication and punctuality, as they arrived earlier in the time window, allowing me extra time to enjoy and play. Being a piano technician, I absolutely appreciate the care and expertise used as they handled the move of both of my pianos (6’1” Baldwin Grand & Upright Wurlitzer). These are both delicate instruments and A1 successfully moved both with ease and without damage into their new locations in my home. I was also thrilled to see Greg, as he helped deliver a different grand piano to my mom’s house when I was still in High School. Overall the moving process took less than an hour due to the efficiency and well-executed plan from the movers. They confirmed both piano locations and ensured all parts were secure and working properly before leaving. Jess even followed up the next day to confirm everything was up to my standards, further illustrating their incredible commitment to customer service. I will absolutely be using A1 again for all of my piano moving needs as well as referring them to all of my clients. 10 out of 10 recommend!”

I was holding my breath wait to hear the scratching sound of furniture scraping woodwork, but that never happened. They just silently glided through the doorway. They did that over and over again. They were polite and hard working. They were on time everyday. They were considerate of our old and new neighbors. They encouraged us that they were up for the job and they were right. Our hats off to Dan K. who dropped off and picked the pod. He worked with us to put the pod where we needed it to accommodate upcoming construction and he was very pleasant to work with. “I can’t say how happy I am that we chose Countrywide!!!! Melinda who we originally spoke to for quotes gave tips and the best info for moving whether we picked this company or not. She mentioned things I didn’t even know to think of. Adam then was in full communication for the 2 weeks up until the move. Tyler texted and called morning of and were right on time on the minute! They actually made the move fun which is hard to think that any move or big transition is enjoyable. Happy was the man. He was thorough and everything was packed with care and moved very purposefully. Tyler, his co-pilot, was also exceptional. A guy you felt like you’ve known for years. They treated everything like their own. I highly recommend Country Wide Moving & Storage and will look to them with any moving in the future! Great job guys and we thank you SO much!!!!!!!!”

“Great customer service and fair pricing. From Melinda, our on-site estimator to the person answering the phones and coordinated with the dispatcher they were top shelf! The initial thing that impressed me was that once I accepted the quote it was a flat rate without those dreaded extra fees. The reason I'm writing this review, however, is the team they sent to move us. The crew leader, Tom, is a great leader. His depth of knowledge was get helpful. Happy, Sean, and Patrick were energetic and fun living that goes to prove you can joke around and still get things done! They moved us approx. 3 hours door to door. The crew was extremely grateful and there was zero damage!They loaded up on a Tuesday and delivered on Wednesday. They even moved my much loved Honda Goldwing! If you want to have a smile amid chaos of moving don't look anywhere else.”
