“Do not hesitate to use this company.nthisbisbthe 5th time we used Sloane's, first in 1987, then in 2001, then in 2006, now twice in 2023.<br><br>Most recently, we used Sloan's moving on 7-13-23 and 7-18-23. We could not be more pleased with our decision because:<br>1. We were treated professionally and respectfully at all times. Our belongings were well cared for.nNOTHING broke and we have a LOT of glass collectibles<br>2. The estimate accurately captured the services we needed. The estimate was about $400 more than the services provided. So we paid less than the estimate.<br>3. The staff were carful and gentle. Shout out to Tyrone who helped us pack. Shout out to Cliff who was in charge of both moves. Shout out to the office for getting us that continuity.”

It was a big job, and we couldn't have done it without them. They were kind and strong!! Shelly is very knowledgeable about commercial moves. We are so grateful!”

“These guys were great! We had two guys come out and move furniture from one house to another. It was brutally hot and they were awesome. They asked where we wanted things arranged and put together 2 beds and a crib. I called less than a week before and many other movers had basically blown me off. B and K was such a blessing and made things work when I had started to assume that we were going to be stuck moving things ourself. Highly recommend them!”

“We booked Tony's movers to come to us early on a Saturday morning, to help us not only move, but also to pack up our (1 bedroom) apartment.<br>They arrived on time, quickly assessed the place, and got right to work! They were incredibly fast with both the packing and the moving of all our items. “4.5 Stars! Have used them twice! Very satisfied with results.<br><br>First time was in 2020, in 98 degree weather. This time was 2023. Each time got a truck and 3 men. Handled many flights of stairs like champs, navigating tight corners. Furniture was wrapped in blankets and Saran Wrap - no damage either time. Men were all professional and impressively strong. Two very difficult moves that we could never have done alone.<br><br>2bd 2bath 3rd floor apartment to 2bd 2bath 2nd floor apartment over 100miles away on Memorial Day. Took 8hrs total. Overall very affordable and got a discount for being loyal customers, which was really nice and unexpected.<br><br>Half star off just because of communication and timing. We reached out a couple weeks in advance and told them all the details. We were told we would receive a call the day before to go over details, but when we didn’t get a call, we reached out to the owner. He didn’t seem to know about our move, which was very concerning. It all got sorted, but there was a bit of waiting for responses. Day of they were 1.5hrs late, which was frustrating. They let us know an hour before the scheduled time and explained there had to be a change in staff. Later, we were told by the movers that we were supposed to buy them pizza. We had planned on doing so anyway, but hadn’t been told that we were required to. They also requested we pay in all cash, which we hadn’t done the first time and weren’t expecting. It wasn’t a big deal, but we did have to run to the ATM.<br><br>Owner was available via text for all concerns and checked in frequently. All charges were reviewed carefully and double checked with us in detail. Would definitely use again!”

“Jim Logan came out to Delaware to give us an estimate on moving back to NJ. Actually, his was the only estimate because we used a “BIG NAMED” mover to get to DE, which was horrible! Jim said they would arrive at 8:30 (4/10/23). Steve, Joe and John arrived at 8:20 and hit the ground running, and their team work was amazing! No drama like our first move, just polite, efficient, and careful with our belongings. It appears we had no damage this time! They even re-positioned several pieces of furniture until it “looked right” for us.<br>We appreciate their hard work and would use James C. Logan, Inc. Moving & Storage again.”

The house in Media is older and presented challenges with a tight staircase to the second floor but Steve and Jamai handled it with ease.
