“If I could give less I would. This company quoted one thing to me and then more than doubled the price on the day of moving/storage. The person on the phone played all honest and poo poo'd other moving co's for hiding fees and charges. Then they took advantage of my client who they knew had english as a second language. They sent the last document to sign only to him instead of having me review it first like I had everything else. I have text messages and communications showing either the estimate was WAY OFF (which is another problem in itself) or they took advantage of me/my client by almost tripling the original quote once they had all of the furnishings in their storage units. Do not recommend!”

“Avoid this company if you value your belongings. Their team was unprofessional and treated my furniture terribly. They don’t provide anything close to a white‑glove service — they tossed items around, damaged my dresser, broke the legs, and then tried to blame it on the furniture being “loose.” They promised repairs and a replacement, but neither has happened. On top of that, they drove under the speed limit to inflate the hourly cost. I wouldn’t recommend them even to my worst enemy. Spend your money somewhere else.”

“I was quoted for 3 hours for a total of $665 to move from my 1 bedroom apartment in South Tampa to another 1 bedroom apartment in St Pete (distance 25 minutes). I purposely moved probably 2/3 of my stuff on my own in hopes that I wouldn’t go over the 3 hours. The movers themselves did an amazing job and were very friendly, but took 6 hours for my things that didn’t even take up half their truck (to which they admitted). The only furniture they had to move was 1 couch, 1 chair, coffee table, a small cabinet, a small desk and some boxes. They didn’t have to assemble a single thing. In the end I ended up being charged close to $1200 due to one of the hours being counted for their drive home which doesn’t make any sense. I think this is a ridiculous amount to charge for a small job and I would not use this company again.”

After another moving company canceled at the last minute, I was in a very stressful situation with multiple U-Boxes that needed to be unloaded into a fourth-floor apartment with a broken elevator. The team from Starside Movers arrived right on time at 8:00 AM and came ready to work. There were three movers, and each one was professional, respectful, hardworking, and extremely efficient. They handled all of my belongings with care and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. Despite having to carry everything up four flights of stairs, they maintained a positive attitude and completed the entire job in about an hour and a half. They were courteous, respectful of both my property and the apartment community, and made what could have been a very stressful day feel easy. We had to very suddenly move my parents out of their apartment and Ernest and Brittany came out within an hour and a half of my phone call to pack up my mom‘s insanely packed kitchen and move everything out of the apartment and storage closets to a storage unit. Ernest is a wizard when it comes to making things fit in small spaces and he is so kind and professional. His communication was excellent. I was nervous when I first looked him up because all of his Google reviews are five stars. What real business only has five star reviews?!? After our experience with him yesterday, though, every single five star review is justified. I highly recommend them!”

She was spot on noting detail of our valuable pieces of art and sculpture. She recognized that our flat screen TV’s needed attention for packing, too.<br>Heather and colleagues checked in two days before the move to go over all details.<br>She was always accessible by cell and email.<br>Mark, the driver, was punctual for the start of the move. This means a lot to the family waiting to move. He was so professional and very amicable. “Held my furniture for 33 days. Boxes were smashed and full of sawdust and bugs. King bed hardware was in one of my boxes so they couldn’t set it up, I had to spend the day trying to do it myself. Pick up driver said I was way over, had to Venmo $1500 personally to driver. Drop off driver was rude and wouldn’t take anything off the truck till I signed and paid. Total bait and switch, total rip off!!!! Can’t trust reviews, obviously they are all fake!!!”

I had to file a insurance claim I will NEVER use this company again‼️ The movers did not get along with each other b/c of some internal issues they were having with each other. The helper was good but the guy in charge “David” either misplaced some of my items or got them mixed up with another move job. Either way my personal belongings did not make it to me. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY OR AMERICA 1st MOVERS who contracted this company to move for them. Also had to pay unexpected extra money because of clarity of communication from the primary moving company.”
