“This company is a joke! Not sure if they contracted out the move or not, but these ARE NOT professional movers! While the guys were nice, the move took nearly 10 hours!!! Couch, lamp, desk, shelving unit is broken, mattresses dirty, boxes labeled heavy were on top of boxes labeled fragile, most of the boxes were thrown in the basement and garage for us to figure out, furniture scratched up…and let’s not talk about the walls and the floors that were destroyed in the process. Will be filing a formal complaint. Honestly could have hired someone outside at UHaul.”

“Update: The owner or whoever I spoke to initially contacted me after my move about the review and tried to pay me off to remove it and asked me to sign a non disclosure so I couldn't talk about it or take legal action and LIED and told me it wasn't an NDA like I wasn't going to read it. I work in law! I read another woman's story about them doing something similar which shows you what kind of business they run. Worst experience of my life with a move. The manager or whoever is running the operation is rude and unprofessional. He doesn't want to listen just argue when you tell him the truth. The movers took almost 3 hours to move me out of a jr 1 bedroom and that was WITH MY HELP! And it only took them 1 hour to get everything off the truck with minimum help from be which proves they could've gone faster they are just extortionists! They are going to charge you an arm and a leg for bs. And don't live anywhere that requires you to get on the Parkway. They can't get on there and won't tell you until after they've packed up all your stuff on the truck so they have to take the longer route and eat up more time.”

Erick Martinez and his team were amazing and super professional. They really got done what I needed and showed up right on time to take care of everything. I moved from one building to another, and both places are on the third floor. They finished everything in just five hours. “Best move ever, SC to CT. Nick and Alberto loaded all in one day! They worked non stop and wrapped EVERTHING like we were moving to Europe or somewhere. Very polite and respectful of our furnishings. The packing job was tight in the truck, which is probably why we did not have a single broken item. We did a video estimate that was a little little light so there was a 10% up charge which was very reasonable because we knew we ended up with more items then we originally estimated. After all an estimate is an "estimate". Their price was the lease out of 3 bids for the job as well. Nick and helper then showed up to unload with 4 days shipping time. Fantastic! No delay. They reassembled everything and were done in half the time it took to load. Luca and Nick kept us updated all through out the move, we never had to question what was happening once we were in the schedule. We have move several times and had some nightmare experiences, YEA for Eastland, Sara, Luca, Nick and team!”

“Beware of shady business practice. They will overcharge you and not give your money back. We hired this company to move us from Fairfax, Va to Alexandria Va. we were given an initial quote of 689 for 3 hours. In order to book you must pay a 100 dollar deposit. Come move in day crew arrived on time and promptly began to start working. Once we had arrived at the new address before they began offloading you get a new updated quote that based is based on the new projected time it will take to finish. You must sign and pay the full price upfront before they start to offload your items. The deposit that you paid originally does not get deducted. I paid for 5.5 hours of labor. They finished the job in 4.5 hours. I was told by the crew that I would be refunded my deposit as well as the cost of the extra hour. Every time I call for an update they say they have to send the file to some other person. It has been close to 3 months and I still have not received my refund.”

They moved approximately 10 large furniture pieces into the 10 foot truck , that was too small for the jod; however, because of their experience they made it work and it was one trip with two stops and most importantly NO DAMAGES. He was kind and courteous. The next day the movers came and under his supervision, removed the belongings quickly and efficiently. Then was just told because of it being summer the "same price" went from $520 to $1050 including $600 for the use of his trailer. and when I objected was called me an SOB in their email reply. They knew in March when they did first move the return would likely be in June when he said it would be the same.. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Addressing your reply and to set the record straight..the "heated exchange" was a single email where I expressed my disappointment at not honoring your previous commitment and there was no cursing or name calling etc on my part, Follows: >>>.Sorry but I do not understand. I reached out on June 13th and you take this long to get back at over twice the price promised? You are charging me more for the trailer alone that the entire job was. It has put me ins a bad spot A little more I could understand, but over twice the price??? Very disappointed <<< YOU used the SOB as a reply and second my statement of pricing differences is spot on: >>>I would need you to understand that I would have to charge you my normal rates for summer peak season rates. My 3hr minimum with my trailer is $600 and $150 hourly. I am also busy in the morning hours on June 27th. I am sorry for telling you that I would give you the same rate but you caught me in a busy time. I also didn't charge you for going over the 3hr minimum on your last move. Let me know if you have any questions."”
