“Unprofessional, dragged their feet to pad the bill, and ruined my schedule I had a terrible experience with this company and ended up out $455 total (including a cash tip given in good faith before the billing schemes began). * The Bait-and-Switch: Deon sounded honest, professional, and straightforward on the phone beforehand. Once the move started, that professionalism completely disappeared. * Late Arrival & Traffic Surcharge: The crew showed up 30 minutes late, reeking of weed, and acted rude and uncommunicative. Because they were late, our drive got pushed directly into peak Atlanta rush hour, adding an extra 30 minutes of travel time that they charged me for—making me pay for a delay caused entirely by their own tardiness. * Missed Utility & Domino Effect: Their delays caused me to miss my scheduled utility appointment. This created an entire domino effect for my evening: stuck waiting at home without hot water or cooking gas, unable to get groceries, and unable to mail out keys. * Deliberate Clock-Padding: Once on-site, the crew dragged their feet at a deliberate snail's pace, spending an absurd amount of time assembling a basic bed frame purely to run the bill into overtime. They also left empty trash boxes scattered in my new apartment for me to haul to the dumpster. * Arbitrary & Shady Billing: Management immediately demanded an extra $165 in overtime manufactured by their own delays. When I pushed back, they haggled downward ($149, $135, $100) while Deon claimed he was "giving me a deal." To top it off, after sending an invoice link for $57.50, they made up an absurd excuse about intending to send two separate split links ($57.50 and $42.50) to make $100. They take advantage of exhausted customers on moving day with slow labor, traffic delays of their own making, and arbitrary billing games. Save your money and hire an honest company instead.”

“I sought out Alliance Movers because they had good reviews, and I paid a premium for their services (4x the rate of the cheapest option). I expected quality service, and items to be packed with care and attention. However my experience was anything but. Items were tossed in boxes with no thought. My two U Boxes were packed with fragile things heaped atop fragile things. My two U Box containers were packed so poorly, that we ran out of space before fitting all my things. I had to repack one of the U Box containers after they left in order to fit the remaining items. When I unpacked after the move, several items were damaged. Two lamps broken, two antique end tables severely damaged, an antique dresser received a giant scratch, and several smaller items were also damaged. This is a budget moving option masquerading as a high quality service. Would not recommend.”

“Super friendly and easily moved the piano with ease and skill. Was late for arrival but we so appreciated the professionalism and skill that we could deal with the lateness. They stuck to the flat fee in quote and no issues with damaging the piano. The day before we used Task Rabbit Delivery for a large piece of furniture. “If I could give this company negative 5 stars, I would. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a moving company. They were hired by my apartment complex to move residents during renovations, and the entire experience was unacceptable. Looking back, I should have known I was in for a bad experience after hearing other residents talk about their belongings being damaged during their moves and having to get items replaced. My belongings were damaged, and after they loaded the moving truck and left my apartment, I discovered my cigarettes were missing. I reported my concerns, but no one accepted responsibility or attempted to resolve the issue. The crew was unprofessional, and I was left feeling that my property was not treated with care or respect. If you use this company, I strongly recommend keeping your valuables with you, documenting your belongings with photos beforehand, and closely supervising the move. When you’re sending employees into customers’ homes to handle their personal belongings, the company should ensure they hire and supervise people who will treat customers’ property with honesty, care, and respect. Based on my experience, I did not feel my belongings were secure. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy.”
