Antonio drilled the cover strap clasps into the tub as recommended by the spa company so we did not have to worry about that. His team helped clean up the packaging material and put our door back on our gate. They handled our tub with care and there were no damages. Highly recommended!”

She called us a few times to confirm our moving date so I felt the utmost confidence that they would show up. The crew was polite, friendly, and enjoyable to work with. Furniture was packed with attention to detail and care and placed precisely in every room where we wanted it. Even if we made a mistake, they moved the furniture piece again to the proper room. No complaints or grumbling. I have used Ernie's twice now in 8 years and wouldn't work with anyone else. And the price was extremely competitive compared to larger moving companies. “We had to move a 85 inch tv from first to fourth floor in our townhome. Every other movers said they couldn’t do it or it was too risky. Robert did it and also helped me with mounting the TV. They broke my TV, 4 lights and still these bad elements of the society are in business. If you are using their services, Keep yourself safe and call cops, whenever they're delivering as goons and bouncers will be there, might be armed, so take care of yourself and your family members.”

“Would NOT recommend. Arrived an hour after the 2 hour window given. In a Uhaul (not the truck advertised in pics). Mother and bro-in-law handled move to help me. Was told they moved slow (charged hourly). Damaged property. Did not put together anything after move (had to have them stop by the 8 hr mark). Charged for extra time due to traffic hit during transition. Completely ignored contract agreement. Find another business. Save your money.”

“An unfortunate experience because North American Van Lines is so professional and has such a great team in Texas. This company, and their leadership are so unresponsive that we had to bring in a lawyer to aide us in the process. The damages and missing items can never be replaced. While it is an unfortunate circumstance for us it is even more unfortunate that this company is allowed to run like this. The longest communication times along with bad paperwork and a moving team that was rushed and left several scuffs. If at all possible-check with North American to ensure you do not have to work with the Moving Connection. We wish this company the best but the service provided was bottom of the barrel. Really put a damper on our move to Maryland and my late mother’s coffee table (which arrived completely broken on one end) can not be replaced. Just very sad and disappointed.”

“This was our 12th move and definitely the worst. Approximately 90% of our items had some type of damage. Many items broken/damaged beyond repair. Major missing parts to two if our beds (beds cannot be put together without these parts). Light colored (brand new) sectional not covered/wrapped in plastic. Arrived dirty. Crew that packed and loaded were very disrespectful and rude. Try to cram 2600 sq. feet plus onto one small truck. Taking patio furniture apart just to get it on the truck. Expensive bikes had wheels, pedals and other parts removed. Had to open every box in order to find everything and check for missing items. No logic to the packing. Items arrived weeks late. Communication has been very disappointing. Do not us North American or Moving Connection.”

“The ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! If possible to give negative stars, that is what I would give The Moving Connection with North American. It all seemed to start out great, until our furniture arrived at our new home and was loaded off the truck. Out of eleven professional moves, we have never had the extent of damage done to our furniture as with this move. Approximately 80% of our belongings have some sort of damage, to include a grandfather clock for which I was assured would be packaged properly. It is now sitting in my garage in several pieces. Our boxes and totes looked as if they were dropped while going down the interstate. We are absolutely sick by the lack of respect and pure negligence shown by this company. DO NOT USE THE MOVING CONNECTION of Upper Marlboro,MD with North American!!!”

“The job was contracted out to a local Maryland company. People were nice enough, but the movers were rough with the belongings. Our furniture has war wounds from the move. They didn't have enough on the crew for the loading. Job started at 10AM and didn't not finish until 9PM. They ran out of room and one piece of furniture was left behind ...which I later returned to retrieve myself. The estimator seemed to take a swag at the size of the move. We didn't pay anymore, but like I said, they ran out of room on the truck. The overall price was much lower than the competitors. I see now that they sub contracted the job. I would recommend that if you use this company you check to see if they are doing the move or if it will be contracted out.”

“Moody Movers moved a large marble-topped table that is inlaid with ivory, all along the table legs and all four sides of the table. They wrapped it in bubble-wrap. The move was perfect. There was no damage to the table. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them for any type of move!”

“These guys were unprofessional complained the whole time and broke my grandmother's China. Irreplaceable and the guy andre clearly didnt care cause hes the reason it's broken. Hire at your own risk. P.s. just so your aware they have no office. The address that is given to you is just for a building that they may be paying some rent for. But they themselves do not operate it. They are a company called mega movers in truth and they are based in Florida, Philadelphia, and new york when I spoke with someone today. So a. The are horrible with how the operate and b. THEY ARE NOT LOCAL. What this company does is hire independant contractors to take on these gigs. Again hire at your own risk.”

“STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS MOVING COMPANY!!! DO NOT USE. If I could give Ellicott City Movers negative stars I would. It all started off with getting a quote from Nadia. She quoted me (for a 3 bedroom place) $500-625 + needed packing supplies with 1 hour of travel and 3-4 hours of moving using 3 movers. Booked it for 9am on a Saturday. I get a call the Thursday before our move asking if we could change our date to Friday or Sunday for a 10% discount. Unfortunately I couldn't. I get a call Friday confirming my move on Saturday between 2-3pm. Wrong!!! I immediately call Nadia who explained they were down a truck and could not get to us until 2-3 but we would get 3 guys at a small discount. Ok, fine I agreed with little fuss. I get a call at 11:00am on Saturday from an employee saying he'll be to our house in 20 mins. Fine, but wouldn't you know only 2 guys show up. Not the 3 I was promised. Ridiculous. To make a long story shorter... It took these 2 guys 6 HOURS to move us, they DAMAGED 2 walls in our rental house, they CHARGED US $150 FOR STAIRS which was never mention even as a possibility in my quote, and they didn't unpack half of our belongings they packed at our previous place. And they knew we were moving to a townhouse with stairs. So for a move that was quoted to cost $625 these movers charged me $1,100 which is almost double!! And now they only accept cash, which again was never brought to my attention before. I've texted Nadia multiple times about my disappointment in what they put us through. She can't be bothered to help me; she will only relay my message to someone to call me which hasn't happened. I know she's lying. She couldn't care less about us now. Nobody at that company can. They even told us we were lucky because they were early by arriving at 11:30am. Are you serious?!?! The original time promised was 9am you were late!!! Based on our experience this company doesn't deserve anyone's business. I hope this review saves other people from going through what we experienced.”
