Moving company reviews in Chicago

“These guys were great. I suddenly had to move and they squeezed me in to make it happen. Every staff member I spoke with was wonderful, and the movers were hilarious. What started as one of the most stressful days of my life was made so easy with their help. Thank you guys so much”

“I cannot recommend Wolley Movers enough! They were incredibly efficient, professional, and kind throughout the entire moving process. They gave me a fair, upfront price with absolutely no hidden fees. I had six flights of stairs at both of my apartments, and they handled everything with ease and professionalism. They made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier. I would highly recommend Wolley Movers to anyone looking for a reliable and hardworking moving company!”

“The main packers were great. The foreman for the move was excellent, the other movers did a good job as well. The salesperson who set us up refused to do an in person look at our apartment and was way under on his prediction of boxes. I asked him to add 25 boxes and there were still not enough for the packers. And he did not respond well to direct questions in advance.”

“My pack and move with The Professionals was amazing! Our crew was really good - Oscar, Jesus, Erick and Jesus were all super efficient, friendly, and explained everything to us during our stressful day. We can't thank them enough for all their help and will absolutely be using The Professionals in the future!”

“great movers, were careful with my belongings and the move was super quick. Will definitely use again”

“10 out of 10 experience. My crew (O.Cornelio, Jesus, Erick, Jesus V, Javier and Roberto) were fast, flawless and friendly. Couldn't ask for more”

“This is a great company with great staff. We had a complicated move, we had to move out into a storage unit and then 3 days later into our new place. Every person we dealt with over the course of this time was so helpful and on top of everything. Moving out we had Palma, David, Rigoberto and moving in it was Gonzalo, Enrique , and Rigoberto. They were all amazing. I would recommend this company to anybody.”

“Kevin, Ramon, Sal, and TJ were absolute rock stars! They made our moving experience so easy and a non-event for us. Could not have been happier with the entire process, from when the conversation started with Tom, to when the guy showed up, to the very end of the move. Thank you so much for all that you did! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch moving organization.”

“Hard working & fast!”

“Very good goods handling and courtesy”

“I had an amazing team of movers that helped move furniture into my new home. Eric, Martin and Manuel were very professional, kind and hardworking. I appreciated that they were on time and worked efficiently to finish the move in a timely manner. Overall it was a really great experience. Thank you again!!”

“We recently used The Professionals Movers for the second time, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with our move. From the very beginning, the entire process was incredibly easy. Booking was straightforward, and they took the time to explain every detail of the contract so there were no surprises. They also send a moving expert to your home at no cost to assess your needs and provide a much more accurate quote. During the walkthrough, they tell you exactly how many packing supplies you’ll need, how many trucks are recommended, and they even offer professional packing services for an additional fee. Looking back, I wish we had taken them up on it because packing ourselves was by far the hardest part of the move! On moving day, we had completely run out of time and still hadn’t finished packing the kitchen. Without missing a beat, the crew packed everything up for us and kept the day moving smoothly. I own a large collection of antiques and vintage furniture, so I was incredibly nervous about the move. Javier, who was in charge of our crew, along with Jose, Roberto, Ramiro, Hector, and Miguel, were absolutely phenomenal. They are truly wizards when it comes to packing and moving. Every piece was wrapped with incredible care, everything was loaded efficiently, and amazingly, not a single item was broken. The entire team worked incredibly fast while still being friendly, professional, and meticulous. They are expensive, but after experiencing their service twice, I can honestly say they are worth every penny. If you’re looking for movers who genuinely know what they’re doing and treat your belongings as if they were their own, I can’t recommend The Professionals Movers highly enough. We moved from north side Chicago to the far NW suburbs and had 2 trucks and 6 crew members. It took 8am to 5/6pm. It was a huge move and cost $4700 plus tip.”

“My move with The Movers, LLC was smooth sailing. Honestly, I was in disbelief because moving is usually stressful, frustrating, and full of headaches. Irwin and Maycol were the two movers who handled my move. I was hesitant about having only two movers, but they exceeded my expectations. They treated all of my belongings with care and respect while working efficiently, thoughtfully, and with a great sense of urgency. The biggest challenge was getting my 86 -inch couch out of my 100-year-old walk-up apartment. The hallway makes a sharp turn at my front door and narrows even further, making it incredibly difficult to maneuver the couch. After a few attempts, they successfully got it out without damaging either the couch or the building. Their problem-solving skills, patience, and positive attitudes throughout the process were truly impressive. They also took great care with my fragile items, which immediately put me at ease. Not once did they show any frustration, despite the challenges. I was quoted a price upfront, and the final cost matched the estimate. The move took about four hours, largely because of the couch not because of anything the movers did. In fact, The Movers, LLC provided the lowest quote I received, and they delivered exactly what they promised. Thank you, Irwin and Maycol, for making what is typically a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable. The positive reviews are absolutely deserved. I highly recommend The Movers, LLC.!”

“We just used The Professionals Moving Specialists for a high rise move in downtown Chicago this week, and our experience was exceptional. Juliana did a great job in advance of our move with timely responding to a bid proposal and making sure that we had all the information necessary to prepare for our upcoming move. On the morning of our move, we received a call from Marcos, the leader of the crew responsible for moving our belongings, about 20 minutes BEFORE the scheduled start time! Marcos and his crew which consisted of Ciprione, Carlos, and Roberto, were friendly, professional, hard working, and efficient. They completed our move out of a two bedroom condo from one high rise and into another in 4 hours!!! My wife and I highly recommend The Professionals and would use them again. Ask for Marcos and his crew, they are exceptional!”
