Moving company reviews in Chicago

“I have used two times and have had amazing experiences each time. I will use them again and will recommend them to people I know who are moving.”

“Made our move easy!”

“The crew was amazing, well prepared, fast, kind and efficient. Thank you Jon Powell, Anderson De La Cruz,Matheus Menezes-Avendahna. I appreciate your hard work!!”

“The three young men were courteous, thoughtful and efficient. They wrapped the furniture well and packed the truck with our incredible amount of stuff. At our new place on the 16th floor they asked where things should go, put things back together that were taken apart to get through doorways, cleaned up after themselves and asked what else we needed. What an incredible crew!”

“We have used Dreiske for 5 (NOW 6) moves in our extended family. They have all been great. They show up on time, with the right equipment and treat everything (and everybody) with care.”

“Very good team of guys I love Josh well recommend”

“I’ve used Reebie Allied (Pete Nechi & his team) for years. I’d never use another moving company! I highly recommend them for local, as well as cross country, moves.”

“Rico and his crew were wonderful. He explained the process and charges thoroughly once they arrived. They worked carefully and hard all day with smiles and professionalism the whole day. Communication was always quick and precise on the business side as well. Highly recommend!”

“I cannot say enough about this company and my experience compared with my last mover, it was like night and day! They were absolute professionals, taking great care to move items so as not to damage them or our new home. They saw that we had nice wood floors, carefully placed floor runners down, and were continuously on top of shielding the undersides of heavy furniture so that scratch possibilities were eliminated. Furthermore, they worked hard and diligently, keeping the hours and cost very reasonable compared to other movers. Absolutely use these guys, John M., Matt, Alex, Cody and Joey, they're a terrific team and your go to for your next moving job!”

“Lee did an outstanding job moving my pinball machine. He was professional, careful, and clearly knew what he was doing. The move was smooth from start to finish, and he treated the machine like it was his own. I highly recommend Lee to anyone looking for a reliable and experienced pinball machine mover.”

“My husband and I moved from a large house into a temporary apartment, taking about half of our furniture and contents with us and putting the other half in a storage unit. From the beginning, Andrew guided us with such integrity, kindness, and knowledge. He spent as much time as I needed to talk through details of the move. Our moving team also exceeded expectations. They worked quickly and carefully, and the final bill came in very close to the estimate despite having two additional men on the crew. We highly recommend Allied/Reebie for anyone moving in the Chicago area and are so grateful for the professionalism shown across the board!”

“Lee of Chicago Pinball Movers is great to work with. He moved an Arcade cabinet from Chicago to Madison Wi for me. He was very thorough and handled everything with the utmost care.”

“Juan and his crew were awesome! Worked efficiently and carefully. They put everything back together and placed my furniture exactly as I'd asked. Would recommend them to everyone.”

“The movers were very professional. I scheduled a move for 3 bedroom within city. When booking they suggested for 3 movers, but when they came they said they brought 4 movers as it is quick. They did the work very professionally and quick. My entire move from loading moving and unloading happened in 4 hours. The only thing i was surprised about the Wrapping and tape charges as they overcharged me for about $300, which was too much. Even i talked with the guy, they said they used 4 shrink wrap and its the price, where as i was told $75 only. Most of the items i had already packed professionally so it was quick.”

“Chicago Marathon Movers is awesome!! Trel, Josh, Jaon helped move me out of a one bed on the third floor of a walk up. They were careful, efficient, and very pleasant to work with!! Even rebuilt my bed frame with such ease. I will be using them again in the future!!”

“Excellent service! Reliable, professional and wonderful to work with. Cant thank you enough!”

“I was nervous for my first move within the Chicago area but Alamo movers were great and affordable! Handled all of my items with care and did a great job wrapping the bulkier items. Already had a couple of friends use them from my recommendation! Geno & Danny were great, efficient and very personable so it wasn’t awkward lol”

“The movers that I worked with were All great gentlemen . The professionalism and the friendliness shown to me was appreciated. They arrived on time even worked behind the scene to call in an off duty worker. They support my moving needs with one day notice Thank you for senior care service 🥰. “I would absolutely use Lee to move my pinballs machines, jukebox, and arcade game again. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to really care that the machines were moved carefully and that they wouldn’t get damaged. His pricing was fair and made sure that I was satisfied with his service. A+++ Lee. Thanks again.”

“Happ Movers are the best in the business. Their team was delightful and I'm pretty sure they bent the laws of physics to get this very large couch into a small space. 🧙‍♂️”

“Starting with John in the initial assessment of our move and quote we were confident in Thompson for our moving needs. We moved from a house of 35 years with all that accumulated in that time. The moving crew; Adam, Alex, Alexavier, Joey and John L. we're remarkable. Light hearted, good spirited and went the extra mile to make a stressful situation a breeze. Thank you for your expertise! Chuck & Dorene Martello.”

“We booked Crescent Movers a week before our move. They sent 2 people to move our large furniture less than 10 miles. They gave us the lowest estimate. Our movers, Tony V and Nelson, were very professional and efficient. They arrived on time and they communicated well before arriving, while loading, and while unloading. They were done within 3 hours. The final cost was $120 less than estimated. All in all would definitely recommend.”

“10 out of 10-I highly recommend crescent! I’ve hired them three times now & would not use anyone else, 100 perfect professional & reliable”

“John M, Matt, James,Joey and Alan they were awsome, considerate, very careful not to scratch the furniture or the walls, and very respectful. Thanks guys for a great moving experience!! I would highly recommend them!!”

“You can’t get better. Amazing communication, incredibly flexible, careful, attentive to details and efficient. I’m generally a hard grader, 5 stars is rare for me but I just cannot find a reason to take one away. Thanks Roy and company!”

“Polite & professional, hardworking, efficient, & experienced. Would recommend to anyone!”

“Nate, Zach, and Ben were a great team, endless energy, and very courteous and professional. They had a long day moving us, but stayed on task and never complained. They made our move a lot less stressful.”

“Had a last-minute move and Nick and Jesus came through!! Even in 90 degree heat and thick smoke and hazardous air quality from the wildfires up north, they were fast, careful and thorough with all of my items. I was seriously lucky they were available and ready to help out. Next time I move, I’ll ask for them specifically.”

“I love your movers they are careful and do a good job. We used them to move furniture in our house around to have some work performed. The 1st move was excellent… the second move was very good.. but I felt it was a little over priced.”

“Chicago Pinball movers fix a great job of fixing my Bally Game Show pinball machine. The batteries were corroded - fixed. New locks. New balls. At a very reasonable rate. High recommendation”

“very professional, starting with Peter who gave is the estimate. We were mot as organized as we thought, and everyone was very helpful and efficient. Jimmy was a standout. Two of my daughters used Reebie for their moves and similar experiences.”

“Deangelo provided excellent assembly services. He was on-time, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! I would utilize his services again.”

“We hadn’t moved in 26 years, so you can imagine how overwhelming and stressful the process seemed. From our very first interaction with Beltmann, we knew we were in good hands. A huge thank you to our move coordinator, Brenda, who checked in with us throughout the entire process and made sure everything stayed on track. Her communication and genuine care gave us so much peace of mind. We’d also like to recognize Megan for all of her help in understanding the process and costs and especially Shane, who went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. The moving crews at both our old home and our new home were outstanding. They worked incredibly hard, never slowed down, treated our belongings with great care, and maintained a positive attitude from start to finish. Moving after 26 years is no small task, but Beltmann made the experience as stress-free as possible. We are extremely pleased with the entire process and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company. They truly earned an A+ in our book!”

“Guys did a great job, courteous timely and very affordable. Thanks again.”

“Deangelo was extremely professional and very polite. Assembled the wayfair dresser perfectly and helped me get rid of the cardboard boxes that the dresser came in with. Great work!”

“Wolley Movers helped me with a recent move and a move 4 years ago. Both times they were careful with my items and efficient! I'm grateful for the staff who helped me move my belongings including some very heavy furniture! Update: I do have a small update for an incident with my dining room table. During the most recent move, Wolley Movers placed my empty 75 gallon aquarium tanks on my dining room table to wrap the tanks and have more leverage up pick up the tanks. Unfortunately my standard dining room table wasn't equipped to hold that amount of weight. After the move I noticed the table caving in at the center, it was not caving in before. There is a leaf in the center of the table that allows the table to extend. My table was still functional for several weeks, until today when it completely collapsed. The supports underneath the table that allow the table to slide/ extend have broken off on one half of the table. I still stand by what I said originally that Wolley Movers were very hard working, efficient, and overall very careful with my items! I know this was an honest mistake but I wanted to mention this as something to be mindful of for future moves.”

“All of the movers were great-John M., David, Cole, Eddie,James, and Jaden. They were very professional and pleasant. The whole move was quick and efficient yet they took the time to find out where each item had to go. Also there were some last minute changes to my closing date and the company was very accommodating and the price for everything was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company!”
