Moving company reviews in New York

“Anthony, Josh, and Chris helped us move the other day and they were quick, efficient, and very helpful, handled around 100 boxes and cleanly unpacked the futures. Amid from logistics communicated us by phone throughout the process and kept everything well coordinated. Overall a very smooth experience!”

“Strong Island moving pros were professional, friendly, and time efficient. Will absolutely be using them again.”

“I had a relatively very solid experience with Mike and his team. The movers were on time, communicative, and efficient, especially when compared to the price point of some other movers in the city. All of our items were packed incredibly safe and professionally for the most part. We did notice some small scuffs on our bed frame once they put it back together so I called Mike to let him know and he went well beyond what he needed to do to make it right. He refunded me well over what their coverage required and even came back himself to touch up the frame and make it new again. I totally understand there can always be mishaps but the way Mike handled it was generous and I appreciate the way he does business in a way that can make both parties happy.”

“Absolutely fantastic experience. Professional from start to finish and everythign went off without a hitch.”

“Jorge & Luis did a great job moving our furniture from our storage unit to our home. Very professional, organized, polite & very easy to deal with! Would highly recommend for large or small moves!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better experience working with Alex during our move. From start to finish, he was professional, organized, and kept us informed every step of the way. Moving can be stressful, but Alex made the whole process smooth and worry-free for my wife and me. We'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a mover they can truly count on!”

“My husband had used Miller’s Honest Moving company years ago and had a great experience- he insisted that we use them again for our move to our new home and I’m SO glad we did! Sergio and his team were unbelievable from start to finish- they were on time, worked so hard and so carefully, and were so patient with us trying to figure out where to put things in our new house. The attention to detail was amazing- they were so careful with every single one of our belongings and so mindful of the floors and walls too. This was a pretty big move- we have a ton of stuff- and they took the stress right out of it and handled everything. Thank you SO much- we are so grateful and will absolutely be referring family and friends!”

“I don’t usually write reviews but in this particular case it is my pleasure to share my experience with Twin Forks Moving and Storage with others. Our move was from Westhampton NY to Haiku,Maui in Hawaii. It was our first long distance move and I contacted the company for an estimate. The next day Gabe came to the house and discussed our requirements and how best to expedite the move. He took stock of all the furniture and household goods and recommended packing fragile items in purpose built crates. It was a more complicated project than usual because everything would have to be packed into a 40 ft container to be transported across the states and then loaded onto a ship for transportation to Maui. The packing crew that Gabe sent were super efficient and nothing was too much trouble, they wore slippers indoors and left absolutely no trash lying around when they were finished. I also had an 80 year old vintage car that had to be shipped as well. No problem with that, they sent a flatbed truck then maven it by hand into the container. We all knew it was going to be expensive but Gabe came in below other quotes and worked to make sure the move was as stress free as possible and that is what matters. So there you have it,we were very happy with the personal service we received.”

“We’ve tried a few different suppliers, but this is honestly the best wholesale moving supply company we’ve worked with. What really stands out is their box delivery. Everything shows up on time, neatly packed, and ready to go. We’ve placed some pretty big orders, and they’ve never missed a beat. It takes a lot of stress off knowing our boxes will arrive when they say they will. Reliable delivery makes a huge difference in our business, and these guys consistently come through.”

“The level of care that you took with my belongings was amazing. Thank you guys so much for being patient with me.You did a wonderful job I will definitely recommend you to family and friends!!!”

“We have been buying from Supplies for 10+ years. Deliveries are always on time, great prices. Cheapest tape in the city but quality is good. highly recommend !”

“Great experience! Fast, inexpensive, and professional guys. Highly recommend.”

“Good work & very professional!”

“Moving in NYC is usually a nightmare, but these guys were actually brilliant. I was panicking about fitting my furniture through the narrow hallway of my new place, but they handled it like pros without a single scratch. They were super patient when I realized I’d forgotten to pack my kitchen junk drawer, too. Honestly, they made a high-stress day feel so much lighter. If you’re moving locally, definitely give them a shout.”

“Can't recommend George and his team enough for art moving in Queens. We had several valuable pieces and they treated them like museum curators—gloves, custom crates, the works. They communicated clearly and took their time to make sure everything was safe. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. So glad we found them!”

“I had an amazing experience with Octomovers. I booked my move for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and they actually arrived early at 9:45 a.m., which immediately showed how professional and punctual they are. I was moving out of a smaller apartment, and they managed to load everything in under an hour it was honestly impressive how efficient and organized they were. On top of that, they were able to help me move during a past snowstorm, and I think everything went flawlessly. The team is quick, careful, and incredibly easy to work with. I highly, highly recommend Octomovers to anyone looking for a reliable moving company, and I will absolutely be using them again for my future moves.”

“I recently had to transfer my car out to Tampa for my son and I could have asked for a better experience with Grace Morgan. She was incredibly quick to respond to all my questions and was such a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. Moving a vehicle can be stressful, but Grace made it feel easy.”

“We have been using Twin Forks Moving & Storage for years. This time, for restoring a space after pipes burst this winter. These guys are great at moving large commercial units in tight highly finished residential spaces. No muss no fuss. Everything was well protected, service was speedy and the price was great. Call Twin Forks, you’ll be glad you did.”

“I had a very large, very heavy item I needed moved. Andre called me immediately after I inquired about their services and he scheduled a team to go pick it up the very next morning. When the team got there, they realized the situation was harder than expected and they instantly pivoted. More movers were called and within a couple hours, the whole process was done. Andre sent me photos along the way to keep me posted on exactly what was happening as I was out of state. I (unintentionally) put these movers to the test and they exceeded my expectations. I will definitely call on them again when I have more moving needs in this area. A huge THANK YOU to the whole team for all you did. If anyone needs movers, I would highly recommend NYC Brooklyn Movers LLC.”

“Colin and Collin were professional, kind, and efficient. Highly recommend! They arrived on time and got right to work. I moved after a snowstorm, and they were still so speedy given the heaps of snow on the sidewalk. They ensured my belongings stayed dry, and were even mindful about boot prints in my new place. If you want reasonable rates, personable movers, and an overall smooth moving experience, LightningVan is the company for you!”

““You have my word”. “You have my committment” You do not hear enough of this…. or if you hear it, it is because one is expressing disappointment with another party because it had been implied but there was no follow through. Planetary Movers gave me their word and made a committment to me that the would get this done… and they did! When I found myself scrambling for moving help at the last minute, because other movers did not show up, Planetary Movers informed me that they can make this move happen for me. I was so skeptical - it was the coldest day of the year, there was snow, and I still had several empty UBoxes. Out of desperation, I said, “okay, let’s do this”. I honestly never thought my move would happen… And then the big day arrived… and they showed up! They were professional, thorough, and fast! Because of my previous situation, I had boxes that were not completely boxed up, I had items large and small strewn about. But they boxed and brought everything to my driveway with the UBoxes. They loaded and were done in just a few hours! They worked quickly but also took care of all of my things. Had this been a ‘normal’ move for me I would be here raving about the wonderful job they did! And, they did! But most importantly, they gave me their word, made a committment, and showed up!! My move was a success only because of the Panetary Movers team! Thank you so much! (is there a way to give them six stars?!!)”

“Not sure how big the jobs are that you need help with; but I can assure you, this company will make it happen! They will forever be my go to company for moving and they should be yours!”

“5 stars! I could not recommend these guys enough! They did exactly what they said they would do, they were professional, polite, efficient with fair pricing. I have never had a better moving experience. They handled my belongings with care, listened to me and made suggestions on how to do things efficiently. I don't leave a ton of reviews but these guys 100% deserve it!!!!”

Zach, Pete, and his team were amazing in getting my one bedroom apartment moved out quickly, cleanly, and efficiently even in the face of snow and a building with severe time crunches. Can't wait to use them again when it's time to move into my new apartment! 10/10 highly recommended!”

“Great movers who made the entire process of moving much less stressful (especially right after a major snow storm!) Prior to the move, Konstantin was very responsive and flexible when I had some unexpected changes to my move that required last minute storage. On the move day itself they kept in communication regarding their arrival, quickly packed everything, and took care to properly pack and protect my larger and more fragile pieces. Would gladly recommend them for anyone looking for an easy, stress free experience!”

“We just moved apartments today with Green Line movers and I have to say I am incredibly impressed. They showed up on time at 9am and finished the entire move before 4pm. Trust me, do not use any other company. Recommending Green Line to everyone I know.”

“I was impressed with how careful they were with my vehicle. Loading and unloading went without any scratches or issues. There was a small hiccup with scheduling, but the agent kept me updated and found an alternative solution fast. Their customer service was friendly and attentive. The shipping cost was reasonable for the level of care provided. I am happy with the overall experience.”
