Moving company reviews in New York

“Great service and the building is super clean 👍🏾”

“The team handled my car shipment smoothly and on time. Communication was consistent, and I always knew where my vehicle was during transit. A minor delay occurred, but they explained it clearly and worked to resolve it quickly. Overall, I felt confident trusting them with my car. The staff was polite and professional throughout the process. I would consider using them again for future shipments.”

“I would like to stop by and write my experience with Z311 Services. I have moved from NY to Chicago few weeks back and have two cars, I booked them to ship my both the vehicles. It was hassle free thing for me, as from managing booking to shipment , paper work etc., all was pretty smooth and they were pretty transparent on terms and delivery dates. I am happy with the service being offered . Appreciate entire team for helping me through. Must try their services without second thought”

“My most trusted movers I have utilized them for more than 7 years now for my moving needs and Alex is an absolute gem to work with, highly professional with an eye for detail to the point that he's willing to replace any screws that may have gone missing during the move, you do not get this kind of service from large corporations. I would choose Alex and his team over any other moving company any day of the year! As a matter fact this time around I chose Alex's moving team over Piece of Cake movers, and that speaks in volumes in itself. Thank you Alex!”

“We’ve been working with Movers Development for a bit now, and they’ve been great to work with. It’s refreshing to work with people who really get what we do.”

“Excellent service, super professionals, I recommend them.”

“I contacted Teemer Moving and Storage on a very short notice. Alan the owner came out the very same day and provided me with a verbal quote and a written quote. All of the men during the move were very courteous, professional and attentive. I had to be out of my space by a certain time and they delivered. I will definitely contact Teemer again.”

“Ann was amazing and easy to work with. She was quite helpful and totally honest. The crew of Zach, Pete and Richie were hard working and gentle. Made a stressful situation (moving and impending storm) an easy assignment. Priced fairly and reasonably. Highly recommend. I and my family have used them many times in the past and they still shine.”

“These guys were great - super professional, timely, and lovely to work with. Really impressed by the pre-move coordination too. They knew exactly what the job required and showed up prepared and did a fantastic job. Highly recommended!”

“Used these guys for a move today for commercial equipment. Gave a fair quote. Did the job very professionally and came in within the estimate. We’ll definitely be calling them again. Thanks Alan, Jose, and the rest of the team.”

“Great experience with Experia. Double move within strict Manhattan apartment building and also to Long Island on same day. Rosie at the Experia office was very accommodating to the ever changing schedule and made the complexity of the move very stress free. Nic and his crew of movers, were punctual, very careful, expert in dissembling and assembling furniture, fast, very communicative and respectful. Highly recommended.”

“I had an excellent experience working with Moving You Way. Igor was clear, professional, and easy to communicate with - filled in multiple COIs we needed right away, always responsive throughout the process. His moving crew arrived on time and worked efficiently to pack up all of our belongings the day before the move. The move day was seamless - they were respectful, nothing was damaged, super fast and easy process. Highly recommended, I would definitely use them again.”

“Our move with UMC went very smoothly, from start to finish. All of our prep questions were addressed in a timely manner; and the staff worked efficiently during the two days of the move. No complaints here! We would certainly recommend UMC.”

“The move went really well last weekend. I had some very large wardrobes that needed to be taken apart and then put back together at the new place. The movers had their own tools and handled the furniture perfectly. I did not have to do anything except show them where the rooms were. It was a very smooth day, and nothing got broken or lost in the move.”

“I just moved for work and needed someone to help move my household items. I contacted them a few days before the move, and they arrived on the moving day. They were very careful with my breakable items and made sure they were set up correctly in the new bedroom. It made a stressful day much easier to handle.”

“They have helped our clients for YEARS!! superb customer service. Responsive, caring, smart. Can’t recommend them enough!”

“I recently hired Teemer Moving and Storage Corp for my move, and I couldn't be happier with their service! From start to finish, the entire team was professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They handled my belongings with great care, ensuring everything arrived at my new home in perfect condition. The crew worked tirelessly, and their positive attitudes made the experience so much more enjoyable during what can often be a stressful time. They were also very accommodating with my requests and went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right. I highly recommend Teemer Moving and Storage Corp to anyone in need of a moving service. Thank you for making my move smooth and worry-free—I've truly appreciated your hard work and dedication!"”

“Angel and his team were amazing. Couch pick up from Long Island to New Jersey. We called to see if he was available, had the couch picked up and dropped off same night! His team was quick and professional and item handled with extreme care 10/10 recommendation! Thank you Triple A!”

“This was my second experience with Octomovers. In the summer of 2025, they packed me up for storage with an upright piano. They did an excellent job wrapping my furniture and padding the piano for storage. Later, in December of the same year, I called Octo back to help pack up my truck for the move from the NY storage unit to my home 5 hours away. Octomovers was the perfect partner for this move. I called the way they back the truck, Jenga. I know another mover would have said that my stuff couldn’t fit because they wouldn’t have taken the effort to pack the truck correctly. I had no problem driving home. The weight and balance were perfect and the movers from my local area who unpacked me the next day, commented on how easy it was to unload. I have recommended Octomovers to a few people now and I will sure to call on them if I move back to the NY area.”

“In today’s times, it’s not often you have an exceptional experience and need to write about it. But this was the case with Alex and his crew. They arrived on schedule with a positive attitude and listened attentively to instructions we gave them. Everything was handled with care and efficiency. Carlos, Chris and Bobby were friendly, quick but careful. Every request was catered to and they made a tedious process, less stressful. Will definitely use and recommend them in the future!”

“Very professional. Highly recommended”

“10/10 recommend amazing service”

“The job done by Scanio Movers was exceptional. They arrived right on time and, within just a few hours, had moved all of my belongings from my old apartment into my new one. This was especially impressive given that I moved out of a fifth-floor walk-up, requiring the crew to climb 66 stairs countless times. Even so, the team was hardworking, efficient, patient, and polite throughout the entire process. Working with Scanio Movers was an absolute pleasure, and I highly recommend them without hesitation.”

“Fair pricing. Guys were great. Brought a console up a flight of stairs that weighed over 200 lbs. Efficient and polite. Furniture was wrapped and the minute they came in their shoes came off. Very happy. Would definitely recommend.”

“Findlay Luxury Moving provided an exceptional, white-glove experience that exceeded all my expectations. The crew was incredibly professional and handled my entire household with the utmost care and precision. If you are looking for a stress-free and reliable moving service, I cannot recommend this team highly enough!”

“Loved working with Qs Moving. They were gentle with our items and very efficient. Would recommend using them. Great communication and pricing.”

“FANTASTIC experience! Twin Forks moved us out of our house a year ago, kept all of our belongings in storage during our renovation, and moved us back in last week. I can't say enough about them! First, the movers themselves are ALL lovely - and they all work together with good humor and wonderful courtesy, both with us and among themselves. And the office staff has been totally responsive to my every question. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.”

“We had Magic Piano movers pick up a piano we bought and bring it from DE to our him in northern NJ. The process was smooth. They stayed in communication the whole time. Shawn and his crew were incredibly professional. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone.”

“My company recently worked with Steinway Moving for our office relocation from Lower Manhattan to Brooklyn. Throughout the moving process we had an incredibly positive experience working with Jay, Pat, Bryan and their teams. They were detail oriented, one step ahead of the game and worked diligently to get our many, many items relocated with care. It was a pleasure to work with them and they were able to significantly lessen the overall stress and chaos one would associate with an office move. I would definitely work with Steinway in the future and can't recommend their services enough. Thank you again to Jay, Pat and Bryan for all the help!!”

“Using Get Moving USA was one of the best things we did during ou move. They made our moving day run so smoothly. We had been in our home 45 years so it was a very dramatic moment for us. Everything was smooth the price was reasonable the guys couldn't have been better so helpful very professional. We've heard so many horror stories with moving companies this was nothing but a positive experience I can't say enough about them. Thank you moving USA !!!”

“We had an excellent experience with 360 Degree Moving for our long-distance move. Their team was professional from the start, even taking the time to visit our home and provide a clear and accurate quote. They followed the plan exactly as promised, arrived on time, and delivered on schedule. The crew helped us pack with real care, and every item arrived safely, including our glassware. I recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, reliable moving experience. I have never seen movers wrap so many layers of protection around furniture and fragile items. EXCELLENT JOB!”

“Jason Luis and Raul were great professional and moved fast highly recommend them”

“I want to thank Octomovers for their professionalism during my family's move. Thank you for being on time, courteous, and diligent. I would recommend you to anyone who needs to move their family.”

“I had an outstanding experience with Diamond Moving and Storage! From the moment I requested a quote all the way through to the moving date, the entire team was professional and efficient. They were friendly, communicative, and went above and beyond to make the move completely stress-free. “Moving is horrible enough, and I’ve moved a lot. This is the first time the moving process was seamless, and not a glass was broken. I absolutely recommend!”

“We recieved an much outstanding services from Alen who is also the owne during Thanksgiving holiday ! He finished 100% promised jobs, gave us a very reasonable price . From the estimate to the email written agreement same day, jobs on 2nd day !! He and teams showed full of the energetic and honest working ethic! Highly recommended him in Long Beach, Nassau County and nearby areas!!”

“Nick and his team were very professional. I moved out of state and all my possessions were accounted for...not missing a thing. My daughter also used them for her move. Reasonably priced also. Would definitely use them again and recommend them highly!”

“Update: Used Experia for a second move and they were great. This was a full-pack move, and I’ve never had more careful or thorough movers. Fantastic experience! I hired Experia to help me move a large and fragile piece of glass furniture. Chose them because they offered a good price and a specific arrival time rather than an hours-long window like the others movers I called. Leo and Philip were fantastic movers. They wrapped the item carefully and navigated it through tight corners and low ceilings with ease. Super friendly and nice to work with, they even helped carry a bulky piece of furniture out of a storage room at the pickup that wasn't part of the move. Would absolutely use again.”

“Kobyx Moving provides the highest level of meticulous and excellent professional services. They arrived with all necessary equipment, quickly but carefully completed their work, taking care to protect both the items to be moved and the surrounding space. After completing their work, they cleaned the area so that it was immaculate. I recommend them for all moving projects, large and small. .”

“Tried a bunch of marketing companies before, but these folks actually know what they’re doing. Movers Development understands the moving business. Plain and simple. Solid team to have on your side.”

“The best & most affordable moving service in NYC & Queens!! Lorenzo from The ProMovers helped us move from Astoria and it was a fantastic experience. They carefully wrapped all of our furniture. They arrived promptly and prepared. They also disassembled and reassembled our bed which was very helpful. Do not hesitate to use this company for all local NYC moving needs.”

“I've used Get Moving twice in recent years and both times they were timely, efficient, and careful with the furniture and boxes. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great moving company”
