Moving to Rochelle park: who to call and what the city asks.

Rochelle Park is a township in Bergen County, New Jersey. Garbage pick-up is on Tuesday and Friday all year. The township floods from the Saddle River and the Sprout Brook, and part of it is in their floodplain. Election Districts 1, 2, 3 and 4 all vote at the same place: the Municipal Complex, Senior Center, 151 W. Passaic Street.

Curb hours and Monday appliance pick-up

Containers or bundles may not be put at the curb before 6:00 PM on the day before collection, and may not be left there after 8:00 PM on the day of collection. The rule includes recycling containers.

White goods, appliances and metal are picked up on Mondays. Residents call the Department of Public Works at 201-587-7740 to schedule a pick-up.

Floodplain check and REVERSE 911

Residents can find out whether a property is in the regulated floodplain by calling the township's building department at 201-556-0520. In a flood, Rochelle Park uses REVERSE 911 to notify residents.
