Moving to Tualatin: who to call and what the city asks.

Tualatin is a city located primarily in Washington County, Oregon, with a small portion in Clackamas County. Community Involvement Organizations represent six residential neighborhoods: Byrom, East, Ibach, Martinazzi Woods, Midwest and Riverpark. A seventh, Commercial, represents businesses.

Street sweeping and sidewalks

Streets are swept on a monthly schedule. Sidewalks are the responsibility of the property owner.

Construction and power equipment hours

Construction such as excavation, demolition, alteration or repair of a building is allowed from 7 am to 6 pm, seven days a week. Work outside those hours must be approved in advance by the City Engineer.

Power equipment such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, saws and drills, used for home or building repair, maintenance, landscaping or alteration, is allowed between 7 am and 10 pm.

Water, stormwater and wastewater applications

Service is set up through the city with an application. The application can be emailed on request, picked up at City Offices from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, or downloaded.

A household moving within Tualatin completes the Stop Service Agreement Form for the address being left and submits a new application for the new address.

Electricity, gas and trash providers

Electricity is supplied by PGE (Portland General Electric), and natural gas is provided by NW Natural. Trash collection is through Republic Services, and Metro provides additional information on waste disposal.

TriMet provides bus, light rail and commuter rail service in the Portland metro area, including Tualatin. The WES commuter rail line and the Tualatin Shuttle, operated by Ride Connection, also run in Tualatin.
