Moving company reviews in Chicago

“Kevin and the guys did an amazing job moving my aunt into a retirement community the other day. The speed at which they got the job done was crazy! They were super understanding and considerate of my aunt. They rolled with the punches and were super friendly and nice. Not a scratch and everything fit! 5 Stars!”

“I cannot recommend Bills Movers company enough! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless.. The company made everything so easy, and every person I interacted with was kind, professional, and accommodating. On moving day Pete, Tony, Brayden and Christian went above and beyond. They were kind enough to put my bed and boxspring in a plastic bag to protect them from getting dirty in the travels. That kind of care and willingness to help says everything about their character and work ethic. They were fast, careful, and respectful with everything they touched, which gave me complete peace of mind. If you’re looking for a moving company that truly cares about their customers and delivers exceptional service, I wholeheartedly recommend Bills Movers — and especially Pete, Tony, Brayden and Christian. These guys are the best of the best!”

“Absolute professionals. Fast, efficient, and reasonable!”

“We were extremely pleased with both the packing/loading and the delivery/unloading service we received. Pat, Walter and Kevin were great getting us out of our second floor apartment in Minnesota. Mark and Arturo were great delivering to our two locations in the western suburbs (one a storage unit), in a light rain. Thank you to whole crew at Beltmann, including Brenda and Megan!”

“They were very fast and efficient. Went above and beyond to move additional items. Would highly recommend to anyone moving especially from tight spaces!”

“Mike was great to work with! They helped us move into our first home. Took great care of everything.”

“I’ve now used 606 Movers twice - Both times they were very professional, responsive, super friendly, prompt, and very hard working. I Highly recommend them!”

“This company does not disappoint! They are outstanding! They just did an extremely difficult move for my son to a 3rd floor walk up effortlessly! Including a piano!”

“These movers were honestly amazing. I hired them because my sister had two incredible moves with them, and I’m happy to say my experience was just as great. I underestimated how much stuff I had, and they stepped in without hesitation and handled everything like pros. Not once did they make me feel bad or stressed about it—they were patient, kind, and super efficient. They took great care of my things and made what could’ve been a chaotic day feel smooth and easy. Hands down the best moving experience I’ve ever had.”

“I was very pleased with the moving help provided by the A1 Movers crew. They hit all their marks. Arrived on time; scoped the job efficiently; got the job done quickly. Peter and Julio were polite, professional and were very careful with walls, doors and floors. I will definitely call A1 Movers for all my moving needs. You should too! Prices are competitive and they’re great to work with.”

“It's not fun to run out of petrol, especially if you have to walk a long way to get to a gas station. I called this company to have gas supplied, and they made it much easier. The driver came on time and offered me everything I needed. He even lingered for a little to make sure the car started before he left. It seemed like he really wanted to do a good job. He also told me about their Battery Service and Car Towing services, which means you may get anything you need from them. In general, it was a great experience that was easy to enjoy.”

“These guys were great! Very professional. Took exceptional care of our belongings. Friendly, respectful, asked what we needed. On time and efficient both at the initial site and at our destination. Highly recommend!”

“We had a wonderful experience with 606 Movers. They were on time, professional, careful with our stuff, extremely friendly and accommodating. We have a lot of vintage/heirloom pieces and I was impressed with their efficiency and speed, while being careful and wrapping everything well. Not one single thing broke in the move which is a huge win! Amazing job Jesus, Diego, William and Claudio- we would highly recommend and will use again for our next move!”

“Let me tell you, if you’re moving and want to hire movers, you’re at the right place. I recently hired 606 Movers for my move into my new apartment and the process was so seamless and efficient I was astonished.

Price wise, they charged hourly and were so efficient and fast. They moved my entire apartment in just 3 hours. I was so impressed on how efficient they were. My initial apartment was on the second floor, and my new apartment was on the third floor with a spiral staircase. They were able to get everything up to my third floor apartment with no problems. They were also very kind and asked where they should place items as they carried things into my apartment and if they can do anything else to help out after they were done moving all of my stuff

I was also initially concerned because my new apartment doesn’t have any parking space in the front with a bike lane. However they were able to park in a perfect way which did not block traffic or the bike lane and was seamless.

I will never move again without 606 Movers, it was a great price (better than others I researched). They had 3 people move my apartment and their hourly rate was the same where as other companies charged the same hourly rate but only for 2 people. All 3 movers were working really hard the entire time. Even though it was hourly, they did not slow down, they were working very efficiently.

I recommend to everyone.”

“On time, fair price, cheapest of 3 quotes… just needed a heavy piece of furniture moved, they moved it like it was nothing.. 5 mins later they were gone! Nice guys great job! Ty!”

“Jesus, William and Diego were absolutely amazing! They made the move absolutely breeze and I can’t recommend them and 606 movers enough!”

“The move experience yesterday was overwhelmingly amazing. I don't usually write reviews, but I have to let you know how blown away I am by the professionalism, the skill, the positive attitude throughout, the friendliness, the endurance, and the solid experience of your crew. This was a very difficult relocation from one storage facility to another. My unit had standing water, no working elevator, and impossibly heavy items that had to be carried up a flight of stairs to be loaded. Otis, Chris A, Ramon, and Whitman never flinched! These men are a tremendous credit to your company; all deserve medals. They made it clear to me they were there to get the job done as efficiently as possible and exactly the way I needed. I am eternally grateful and impressed. I've done a lot of hiring during the years for my business and rarely found team members as perfect as these. Thanks Happ Movers!”

“I’ve used 606 movers for 2 moves now and they are truly the best. So kind, so helpful and so fast. I will absolutely be using them for any upcoming moves and cannot recommend them highly enough!”

“While my driver was a little late, I otherwise had a fantastic experience and my team of movers still managed to finish by the original evaluated time in spite of the late start. Some parking issues at the beginning (my fault!), and a move into a upper floor walkup building were all handled well. No items were damaged, and most of my cardboard boxes are still in a reusable state. Would definitely consider using them again in the future if I have a move friends or family aren't available to help me with.”

“Very quick response to my inquiry and the internal moves went very smoothly. I would recommend them again.”

“I had a great experience with my movers, Mario and Francisco. From the start, they were very open and took the time to clearly explain the charges and what was needed, which I really appreciated. Even with just the two of them, they worked quickly and efficiently without cutting corners. They handled everything with care and made the whole process feel smooth. Another thing that stood out was their honesty and professionalism. We accidentally left my step stool on the truck, and they made sure to return it to me, which says a lot about their integrity. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy movers!”

“I couldn't start my automobile at a public parking lot since my battery was dead. The driver got there swiftly, jumped the battery, and made my choices clear. They also pull cars and fill up gas tanks in the area, which makes them a handy service.”

“This is my 3rd time using 606 Movers and they did an excellent job as always! Super fast and they take great care with each item. Super happy and thankful!”

“STOP your search now. I requested quotes from 12+ different moving companies in Chicago, and the experiences ranged from "expensive" to "ridiculous." Other places were quoting over $1k for a 1-bedroom 4-mile move, adding on fees for "moving prep kits" (blankets and dollies) and 6-hour time estimates. Pay Less Moving provided the most competitive quote for a 3-man crew and was incredibly responsive via email. One of the owners, Mauro, handled the coordination and ended up helping with the move itself. We moved from a 3rd floor apartment (with elevator) to a high-rise on the 15th floor. The team actually arrived early, wrapped everything quickly and carefully. They handled a large, fragile mirror and sectional without any issues, and even packed our TV securely in their own box. Halfway through the move, our building’s elevator BROKE. This should have been a huge disaster for our timeline, especially with a strict loading-dock reservation at the new building. Instead, the crew went into problem-solving mode. When we finally arrived at the new place with only 15 minutes left in our dock window, they went into overdrive. They moved in smart batches and somehow got everything up to the 15th floor and into the apartment in about 45 minutes, even reassembling our bed and sectional. The team finished the entire move in 2.75 hours, only 15 minutes passed the time booked. It’s rare to find movers who are this efficient and genuinely pleasant to work. In a city with thousands of options, save yourself the research and hire Pay Less. I cannot recommend Mauro and his team highly enough and will absolutely be using them again for future moves.”

“The crew did an excellent job moving our stuff into storage. Will be using them again to move us into our new house next month!”

“I have moved several times in the last 30 years and each time I moved, it was a horrible experience. Well I am happy to say I finally had a really good experience. Bill's Movers was recommended to me from my girlfriend on her move and she had nothing but positive, great things to say about their move, and I was able to have the same experience. I never thought I would be able to write a positive review on a moving company. You guys are a game changer. Thank you for the care that you showed, the professionalism, and moving me out of my home and leaving enough time for me to have the rest of the day to myself. I can't thank you enough!”

“Great company the guys was professional & efficient”

“I had a great experience with Always Blessed Movers! They were professional, on time, and handled all of my belongings with care. The team was friendly, efficient, and made the whole moving process stress-free. Juan and Luis did such an fantastic job. Everything arrived safely, and the pricing was fair with no surprises. “These guys are great. They were very hardworking, conscientious, and courteous. I would highly recommend and I would not hesitate to use them again for my moving needs. The name Nice Guy Movers is very appropriate!”

“I recently used Always Blessed Movers, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the very beginning, their team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Moving can be overwhelming, but they made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. They arrived on time, handled all of my belongings with care, and worked quickly without cutting corners. I really appreciated how respectful and friendly everyone was, it made a big difference during such a hectic day. Everything arrived safely, and they made sure items were placed exactly where I needed them. The pricing was fair and transparent, with no surprises, which gave me peace of mind. Overall, I highly recommend Always Blessed Movers to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy moving company. I would definitely use them again!”

“I can't say enough good things about this company and especially my crew of Chris, Francisco and Austin. They truly cared about every aspect of my move, even when it ended up being twice as large/long as anticipated. I was met with kindness, compassion and utmost care of my belongings. Highly recommend.”

“I never want to move again, but if I did, I'd hire Meyers without question. Bryan came out the day we put in a request, walked us through the process, and provided the best quote we received. The moving team showed up promptly, moved efficiently (quicker than quoted) and took care with our items. Highest recommendation!”

“I had Vinny as my delivery guy. was very respectful and treating my belongings with respect also. Took time to explain all the paperwork and information after he unloaded my belongings.”

“Vinny, Tony and Zach were awesome. They were very careful with all my worldly possessions. They were careful, respectful and efficient. I’d hire them again any time!”

“Mike and Karl were absolutely fantastic during an unexpectedly shitty move out process. I don't know how we would have done it without them. Despite pressure and verbal aggression from our landlord to rush so they could clean and paint, Mike and Karl were professional, efficient, friendly, and advocated for us throughout. They were careful and thoughtful as well, protecting our furniture and belongings even as it started raining. I cannot recommend them enough and know who to contact for my next move! Thank you Fallen Movers :)”

“The crew was extremely professional, respectful, and efficient with the move!! We had a tricky move out with a lot of big items from a top floor apartment, and they made it work with no issues at all. We will definitely be hiring them again for our next move!!”

“We used them to move our business this past week from 1 office to another office space. Prompt, efficient and reasonable!!!”

“Jesus and his team were excellent! They were very helpful and efficient. We have used 606 movers twice now and have had great experiences both times! Thank you 606 movers!”

“Easiest move I’ve ever done. Everyone was professional, efficient, and personable from the first phone call with Patrick to the end of the move. Everything made it in one piece and they finished before schedule. I highly recommend A1 movers. Thanks again for a painless move.”

“I’m always skeptical when hiring movers because of a previous bad experience. This was definitely not the case with Advantage Moving & Storage Inc.. Advantage came out to assess my moving needs and provided an estimate that was spot on. In fact, after the move was complete the actual cost turned out to be less than what was quoted. Despite the high stakes pressure, Brenna was professional and courteous while guiding us through the entire process. Her reassurance was exceptional and made us feel at ease. When the movers arrived, they were fully prepared and ready to work. All of our belongings and furniture were wrapped with extreme care. Joe, Fred and Anthony were a friendly well oiled team of movers during the loading and delivery of our belongings to our new home, without any issues. It was a seamless move beyond my expectations. I completely recommend this company to anyone! Words cannot express my gratitude!”

“We had an excellent experience with this moving company. The crew was punctual, professional, and extremely careful with our belongings. Communication was clear throughout the process, and they worked efficiently while still paying attention to detail. They truly made a typically stressful day feel smooth and well-managed. I would absolutely use them again.”

“Movers were extremely professional and very efficient. Office staff were wonderful to work with.”

“Great service from Jesus, Diego and William. Were very helpful and careful. Will recommend!”

“From quoting to move in, the Beltmann team did a fantastic job with our multi-day local move. They were extremely professional and efficient, and took extra care packing our belongings and protecting our walls and floors. It was clear as soon as they arrived, they were organized and experienced, saving us time and money. We could relax on moving day with complete confidence in their capabilities - from packing to disassembly and reassembly on move in. When they finished, the furniture in our new home was completely setup and ready to enjoy! Their awesome teamwork and friendly, cheerful attitudes made the experience a pleasure. We even received fantastic service from the team at the warehouse when picking up boxes - they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about selecting what we needed and making sure we had all the supplies necessary for a great moving experience! Thank you to the team - Megan, Brenda Kidd, Steve Pistorius, Phil Beringer, Nick Sorano, Will Sebert, Buzz Sebert, and Tim Teml!”

“I can’t imagine a better moving team than Murphy Family Movers. Jose, Francisco and Seth were outstanding in every aspect of our move. They were courteous, efficient and took extra care with all of our furniture, boxes, and other household belongings. These guys worked nonstop for a long six hour move! They were simply amazing. I highly recommend them for your move! Thank you Murphy Family Movers! Jose, Francisco and Seth, you are the Best!”

“Mauro and his crew are the best. My wife and I have used them on multiple moves and highly recommend. Very quick and professional. Overall great to work with!”

“Very professional, good experience”

“I have worked with Pay Less Moving for 4 different moves across the last several years and recommend them to everyone, they are amazing! Mauro and his team are so efficient, have excellent communication, and handle every move with the utmost care. The cost is very reasonable and the time estimates have always been accurate. Pay Less Moving is the only moving company I work with in Chicago and highly recommend them!”

“Best movers ever!! Mauro and his team were so quick, efficient, and easy to work with. It was my first time using movers and Mauro answered all of my many questions, provided an accurate quote, and then even arrived early! They even offered to help bring stuff to my mom's car. I used a pod moving service and they were able to pack all of my things into the container with expert spacial reasoning skills. (If I tried to do it on my own, it would have taken me hours compared to their super quick speed.) The quality of their work is very high and their prices are super budget friendly. I would absolutely hire them again if I was still in Chicago. They're also independently owned and operated, so it was great to support a local small business.”

“Wow the moving team was fantastic!! Everything went well. I would definitely use them again. Many thanks to Daniel, Jose, Johnny, Vic, Edgar & Juan. You guys were the Best! Thank you”

“My car broke down on a quiet road a few nights ago and wouldn't start again. I tried to address the situation myself, but I soon understood that I needed a towing service. I called this company to tow my car, and they got back to me sooner than I thought they would. The driver came, looked at the car for a minute, and then said that the problem seemed like it was mechanical and that it should be towed to a local repair shop. He meticulously packed the car and checked that everything was safe before departing. He added they also do things like provide fuel, maintain batteries, and move goods long distances if necessary. Everything seemed really straightforward and real. Car troubles are never pleasant, but the driver handled them well and calmly. By the time we drove to the repair shop, I was happy to know that the car was in good hands. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs reliable car towing or help on the road.”

“Another successful move thanks to Advantage Moving & Storage. The gentlemen who brought my stuff to my new home were very nice, efficient and careful of both my items and my home. Changing residences is stressful but at least I did not have to worry about the security of my stuff. I highly recommend Advantage Moving & Storage.”

“Very professional Anthony and his crew did a excellent job. Took good care of my belongings. Will be reaching out again for future services”
