Moving company reviews in New York

“I had an exceptional experience with Moving On Movers! From start to finish, their team demonstrated professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care for my belongings. The booking process was straightforward, and the customer service was responsive and helpful. On moving day, the crew arrived on time and quickly got right to work. They handled my items with great care, carefully wrapping and securing everything to prevent any damage. Their attention to detail and organization made the move smooth and stress-free. I was particularly impressed with how they managed the heavy lifting and maneuvering through tight spaces without a scratch on our walls. The team’s friendly and positive attitude made a potentially stressful day much more pleasant. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it in my new home. I couldn’t be happier with their service and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient moving company. They truly made my move a breeze!””

“The best service ever. Thank you guys. Definitely will work with you!!!”

“They were on time and did not loose anytime around . Was very satisfied”

“My siblings and I are preparing to put our family apartment on the market. There was a lot of stuff. I first contacted Avi Moving on the recommendation of Strand Booksellers. They purchased several thousand books from us. We had already boxed them, but they still required a significant effort to move the hundreds of boxes from the UES to downtown. Their guys came in, carted out the boxes, and brought them downtown. Couldn’t have been easier. I had had a positive experience, so the following week I asked if they could move 2 large pieces of furniture from the same apartment to an apartment nearby. This time we saw how their team carefully wrapped up the furniture, brought it down to their truck, and transported and carefully unpacked and placed the furniture in the proper location. So I called them yet another time when we needed to move furniture and several boxes from New York City to the DC area. Again, thorough and quick. The manager here is super accommodating. The staff is pleasant, neat, and professional. The price was perfectly fair. I have heard many nightmare stories about moving companies. Avi is definitely an exception. Heartily endorse.”

“Tom and the crew did a great job! They were easy to work with and made a huge job into a much more manageable task. Would definitely use them again !”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just wanted to share my experience with Direct Moving and Storage. I recently made the big move from New York to Los Angeles, and these guys made it a breeze. Seriously, from the get-go, they were super professional and helpful. They took great care of all my stuff, making sure nothing got damaged along the way. And shoutout to Ted, the owner, who was right there in the mix with his crew, making sure everything went smoothly. It's not every day you see the boss getting their hands dirty like that. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience. If you're planning a move, I highly recommend giving Direct Moving and Storage a call. They really know their stuff!”

“We were thrilled with Green City Movers and their whole team. What really distinguishes them is a combination of extreme attention to detail with heart: in short, they care. Working with them is like being helped by friends and family--with major professional experience. Aside from helping us with an intense two-day move, they checked up on our cat the next day to see how she was. And came back in a heartbeat when we needed extra help a few days later. Cosby, Zarina and the entire crew are the best. Can't recommend them highly enough.”

“I just wanted to add that Green City Movers were a quality operation. They take great care with your belongings and they did my move pretty efficiently. They arrived on time and all the personnel were kind, mask-wearing and worked with good speed. I would recommend them for sure!”

“Great movers and very efficient!”

“I found this company on Google (search), contacted them on a holiday, the day before my move. In a professional, and yet friendly manner, Mike provided me a reasonable quote; he and Ikaev both communicated constantly with me - sometimes to respond to my queries and allay my concerns and other times to provide a status; provided all the documentation my building required before the move (processed in about half an hour) and the guys arrived very shortly after the documents were submitted and within the timeframe we expected them. The movers are excellent: very very nice, very professional, very fast. They completed our small move between two cities in Westchester in under two hours with no issues at all! I would definitely use this company again!”

“The crew did what needed to be done! Would recommend for sure.”

“We could not have been happier with A/S NYC movers. George and his team, Henry, Libert, Kawal and Daniel made our move from Manhattan to Vermont absolutely painless. They said yes we can make this work to everything we asked. We were so pleased, we have chosen them again to move our storage units from Long Island to Vermont asap. We paid exactly what was quoted, and nothing more. Kudos to their work ethic and honesty. Best, Richard & Jannette”

“After 10+ years in the industry, I have never come across a better, more reliable, professional, or efficient moving company and crew. They were understanding, flexible, efficient, and truly cared about our install being as successful and stress free as possible. I trust them implicitly and will be using them for all projects moving forward! They treated our pieces with such care, they kept their unreal positive attitudes even with TWO broken elevators...resulting in 5+ flights of stairs...they never complained. Jacob, Frank, and the whole team made the impossible happen for us! I can't thank them enough!!”
