Moving company reviews in New York

“I highly recommend Collegiate! We called a few different companies for a relatively small job. 1 of the other companies wanted 2-3 times the amount that Tom charged us. Tom is a straightforward and nice guy. Respectful of our belongings, very helpful and reasonable. We would definitely use him again!”

“I booked Robert and his team for a small move and they were wonderful. Professional, personable, thoughtful and really took care with my belongings. I appreciated how strong and they were and how quickly it all came together. Would definitely use them for future moves!”

“V v good experience. These guys worked incredibly hard, had a great attitude and were always polite and helpful. On the middle day of our job they put in a long, long shift and at the end of the day, fairly late, they were still smiling, and in good form. No major damage, or breakage of any of our properties or our personal items. We would use them again.”

Robert was very up front and communicative regarding costs and expectations before the move, and his team moved me and my partner out of two third-floor walk-ups into a fourth floor walk-up in about six hours. Nothing broken, everything handled with care.”

Matt was curtious, professional and always got back to me immediately when I reached out. His price was extremely fair and was on time to the minute. His assistant was professional as well and they were both quick and friendly. I would highly recommend Matt and his company for any move, small or large. Thank you Matt! Toni Salomon”

“Excellent service. Gino and the guys are extremely courteous and careful when working. Highly recommend 10/10.”

“We've moved 3 times in the past 2 years, and this was by far the best experience. The company is organized, communicative and all-business; they wisely request a video walk-through of the apartment as well as the inventory list, and because they're so efficient about gathering inventory, they provide a flat-rate. No surprises = chefskiss. Everything was smooth and easy. The COI was handled quickly. The movers arrived exactly when they were expected. Once they began, they worked incredibly quickly, but checked in frequently about whether or not to pack certain items (having accidentally had my wallet packed and loaded onto the truck in a previous move, I appreciated this). Would definitely use them again, and highly highly recommend. ***EDIT - The fee they charge upfront does not include moving back in. It cost double what we expected to pay. This is in the fine print, but had not been the case with Flat Rate Shipping (our other moving + long term storage experience) so we were surprised. ALSO - the eco friendly plastic boxes are only for day-of moves. For storage, they use cardboard. Makes sense, but we’d been sold on the eco boxes.”

“I love their signs.”

“Great Movers, quick, careful, quick to communicate 5 stars!”

“Loved working with Tony and his crew. They did an excellent job handling a big move.”

“I’ve used them multiple times for in house moving Such nice guys, so accommodating and professional. They really care about their job. I wish I had used them when I actually moved into my house. They are an amazing company!”

“This was my first time hiring a moving company, but I have to say that Steinway did a fantastic job! My move was coordinated by Joe Hamill, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He walked me through the whole process and answered all of my questions. I recommend giving him a call if you require moving services. On the day of the move, I was very impressed by the care that the movers took to protect my furniture and belongings and was blown away by how quickly they were able to get everything moved out and packed up. Overall 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!”

“The best movers in town”

“They moved very fast and efficiently. If you are looking to move, move the right way with these guys!!! The name does NOT disappoint!”

“Manuel and the team was highly professional, punctual, and responsive to our needs. Pricing was also fair and competitive. We highly recommend for any move in and move out requests in Austin.”

“They took 30 very heavy bins full of books down two sets of treacherous stairs in about 20 minutes, just 3 guys - it was almost mind-boggling. Courteous, quick, gentle with my breakable items (speedily wrapping up things like the mattress and recliner in no time at all) and moving me into my new place in a short window of time, a painless process for me, and it was like 90 degrees out. Incredible service. Highest recommendation”

“Professional individuals, I would recommend to any of my friends or family members.”

“I scheduled a last minute move. Within 24 hours, I had a flat-rate quote for moving a studio apartment. Plastic moving bins were delivered to my door the next day. On the day of the move, they arrived early. The movers were wonderful - they were communicative, considerate of both the space and my possessions, and moved quickly. Unloading the truck was a breeze - they brought in bins faster than i could direct them. 10/10 experience overall.”

“We recently made the major move from Connecticut to Florida and am so glad we enlisted A/S. Lead by their foreman Henry (and a crew of three others -- Ricky, Richard and Vlad ), they carefully loaded up a 26 foot moving truck with such skill that there was no wasted space. They excelled in every phase of the job. Packing fragile objects, driving overnight and arriving early, unloading and placing objects in specific rooms and unwrapping the big items. Because of them, I have a new appreciation for the art of moving. A++”

“Larry and his team were amazing, so friendly, helpful and professional, so incredibly satisfied with Rainbow movers!”
