Moving company reviews in New York

“Had a great experience moving with Sven (Brian, Matt, and Zach)! They were able to move all of my stuff from the 1st floor to a 3rd floor walk-up in under 2 hours, which included 20+ boxes, a futon couch, mattress, and a few other small furniture pieces. They were very communicative, efficient, and easy to work with. Would definitely book again!”

“I had a great experience with Global Junk and Moving Service. Their team was reliable, professional, and very quick. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for dependable junk removal or moving assistance.”

“This was my first move with Sven and I would highly recommend to anyone! Communication with the team before my move was excellent. They were so on top of things and made me feel incredibly at ease. The day of, my movers were right on time and packed up my whole apartment in close to a half hour. They navigated moving me into a house with two sets of stairs and did it in no time and so efficiently. I was impressed by the whole job!”

“U. Santini movers goes above and beyond before and during the move process. I would highly recommend them ! The staff is amazing as well”

“Great Job very Professional everything went smoothly 👏”

“Totally professional movers who were reasonably priced, very easy to schedule my move, prompt arrival as scheduled, very easy to work with my moving team and they even did better than their estimated time. Last year I hired College Hunks which was a big mistake. They were overbooked, unprepared for the heat and humidity, and didn’t bring the proper tools to remove my gas dryer. Whoever scheduled my move failed to tell my College Hunks moving team of: 1) my move date - they showed up a day early, 2) I needed to move a washer and dryer - their truck wasn’t large enough in addition to no tools, and 3) my moving time was pushed from 9 am to 4 pm on my move day. I finished my move after midnight and had to rent a cargo van the next day to move my dryer. This move was so easy in comparison. No drama, no worrying if my movers were going to pass out due to dehydration or low blood sugar, and nothing was broken, scratched or dented.”

“I have used Pack & Go Movers several times and on each occasion the moving crew was exceptional. Chris (foreman), Eric (driver), and Zyell (mover) were very professional and efficient and made my move smooth and painless. Chris, as foreman, was particularly focused on the details of the move and ensured that everything met my satisfaction. All 3 gentlemen were very easy to work with and I highly recommend them.”

“McAvey did a great job moving us to another state. I can't say enough about the care they exhibited with our furniture. They were incredibly professional. I highly recommend them.”

“I had a great experience with Get Moving USA! We are currently renovating our home and needed to clear out several rooms and place the furniture in storage. Matt, the owner, was extremely professional and gave us a fantastic rate. The home office staff was also friendly, responsive, and very attentive to our needs. Our moving crew, Wilson and Christian, went above and beyond. They carefully wrapped every piece of furniture to ensure nothing would be damaged and properly prepared everything for storage. They treated our furniture as if it were their own! I highly recommend Get Moving USA and would not hesitate to use them again.”

“I didn't live in Manhattan, and it wasn't easy for me. The movers did not complain about the stairs and heavy furniture. They were professional throughout and ensured things were covered. They worked hard for me, and I was impressed.”

“Team 6 was absolutely amazing during my move! They were very professional, timely, and handled all my belongings with care! Moving is such a hassle and it really makes the difference when you have a good team supporting you!!!”

“I have had experience with movers in the past, but I had a better experience this time. The guys from Velocity Moving came on time, treated me with respect and treated my belongings very well. They were not pushing furniture around or touching or pushing things into walls. They seemed to have a well-structured system in place.”

“Wonderful guys very pleasant and personable”

“I really can't say enough about how professional, effective, thoughtful and kind everyone who I have had the pleasure to encounter at this company has been. This move has happened in several phases, so I have worked with a great many crew members at this point, and each and every of them has taken special care to ensure that this otherwise very difficult part of life was a little bit easier because they had control of it. A special shout out to Jason, Jermaine, Brian, and all the other others who do their company proud. I can emphatically recommend Men on the Move.”

“Men on The Move was a great moving service and I will definitely use this company again for future moves. From the first phone call to the placement of our precious goods into the storage facility everything was seamless. James came to give us an estimate and go over all the details. The crew they sent for moving day was respectful and careful with everything. They took apart a few pieces of furniture we asked them to crate, wrapped everything and packed boxes into the truck. We met them the next day in our new state and they unpacked the truck into our storage unit exactly the way I asked for. They did a great job!”

“Great company!”

“Amazing moving service. They did a great job with moving and packing and aligning perfectly in the required spaces. They even accommodated our extra items to be transported. Overall very satisfied/”

“I highly recommend Ron’s Moving! They were professional, reliable, and right on time. The entire moving experience was smooth, stress-free, and handled with great care. It was such a pleasure working with them, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a moving company you can trust, definitely give Ron’s Moving a call! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Best quote I received by some distance! Lucas coordinated the move with punctuality and clarity, and the movers Samuel and Darwin were quick, effective, careful with our delicate items, and overall outstanding. I will certainly be using Dumbo moving for my next move!”

“Truck 151! Was able to move earlier than needed and these guys pulled up and did an amazing job. Very professional. I will definitely use them again. Thank you guys :)”

“This is an awesome moving company.”

“Recently the move was done from Manhattan to Great Neck. This crew was well mannered and professional. It is a most I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Price is much reasonable than others out there. There’s nothing too big or small this crew cannot move. Once again thank you for an exceptional service.”

“I recently used Moving & Delivery to move my mom and had a really good experience. Even though it was a very last minute move, they showed up on time, were professional and handled everything with care. Their prices didn’t cost an arm and a leg either which was nice, because I needed both to finish unpacking. 😂 So I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for help moving.”

“Fantastic movers. Handled everything with care and made sure everything was put in the correct room upon arrival. Highly recommend!”

“Always a pleasure to work with Willy and his team. Hardworking, Dependable and honest!”

“Workers for truck 149, pleasant and handled my furniture and belongings with extra care. Will recommend these guys for any moving jobs”

“Very good customer service and best movers I have found so far . Very great experience and I would recommend them to all my friends and family.”

“Eric, Ruben, and Antonio did an awesome job moving our stuff within Brooklyn. They worked super fast and safely!”

“I was really impressed with their packing service. They packed my glassware, picture frames and little decorations, and my kitchen, not as well as I could have done it myself. All the boxes were prepared and labeled properly. When I unpacked, no problems were found, and everything was safe and easy to find.”

“I moved 10 miles from Brooklyn to Upper Manhattan using CEM with Alex and Artem as my movers. Both were timely, professional, communicative, and kind. CEM ahead of the move was also very communicative and adjusted my quote based on things I added. They were able to be flexible somewhat with my date, which made me feel less stressed about a big move. The team arrived at 9:30 am and were done by 2:30 pm. They even assembled my bed frame at no extra charge. Everything was handled with precision and care with no damage. This is my second move with them and I recommend their service every time.”

“Lucas and the moving team were amazing. Had a last minute need for movers and they came through for me when no other companies could! They were on-time, very professional and expedient. Best of the Best. I HIGHLY recommend Dumbo Moving and Storage.”

“The moving company, Velocity Moving, did a great job with our office move, despite what we had thought. They carefully relocated desks, computers, chairs, file cabinets and supplies. The team kept everything organized and helped ensure everything was put in place in the new space without confusion. They were very reliable for a business move.”

“Truck 151 was great at helping me move and very nice and friendly :) super fast and handled my belongings with care”

“Awesome company!!!”

“Our family had to move, but our guys were amazing. We have already used Velocity Moving for the move, and they were great. There was a lot of furniture, kids' stuff, boxes, and breakables in our home. The team was patient and worked carefully. They even helped put the furnishings in the correct rooms, which made packing up much easier.”

“The guys were great, careful and put everything back together the way it was originally. They made sure all our boxes were on the floor they were supposed to be and would not leave until we were happy with everything. This is the 3rd time I’m using them in 6 years and I would definitely use them again. The owner Steve is very involved and makes sure everything goes well.”

“I can't recommend U. Santini enough! I've moved several times over the years with different moving companies, and this was by far the best moving experience I've ever had. Their pricing was transparent from the start, which I really appreciated. I also love that they're a local, family-owned business, and that many of their employees have been with the company for years. It really shows in the quality of their service. The crew leader, Mr. Sosa, was outstanding. He and the entire team were incredibly careful with all of our belongings, friendly throughout the day, and highly professional. They worked efficiently while making sure everything was handled with care, which made what is usually a stressful day feel easy. I'll definitely be using U. Santini for my next move and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy moving company!”

“I needed to move and had no time in between, but Velocity Moving came through for me. I thought the process would be rushed, but it wasn't; the crew was professional and well-organized. They wrapped everything well and loaded it into the truck in a very neat and orderly manner! I was amazed at how quickly they completed the job, yet without cutting corners.”

“Really fast response and so efficient. Loved using them!”

“Zach, Dane and Brian were incredibly fast and efficient!! We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Sven Moving!!”

“This company was highly professional. Attentive, efficient, easy to work with. Highly recommend for moving in Westchester County.”

“Irfan & Jose were both amazing! So many moving companies in NYC try to nickel and dime you and Avant was so far from that. Their team was not only quick & helpful but super friendly. Would definitely recommend Avant to anyone moving!”

“Dimitri did a great job communicating throughout the day and the entire team had clear direction on what items were being moved and where they went. They were able to handle some of our more complex items which other companies would not touch. They arrived in the contracted window with 5 movers and 2 trucks and got it done! Thank you again!”

“Antonio, Luis & Karin from truck#008, they are the best, very professional and thorough.”

“Wisdon, Iris, James, and Spencer were phenomenal! Our moving date was on an extremely rainy day and our building elevator broke down but the team took it in stride and made our move as painless as possible. Highly recommend this team!”

“Exceptional. The crew who moved me were professional, respectful and careful. My entire experience was smooth and without issue. The price was fair and their communication during booking, leading up to and during the move was prompt and clear.”

“Great service. Took good care of my stuff. Good folks.”

“Diego and Aneudy were great movers. Will definitely be using them again for moving! John was also very helpful coordinating everything.”

“I've used Tim's for 3 + moves over the last 10 years and every time the services are extremely efficient, safe, and budget-friendly. Highly recommend.”

“Artem and Serg were super helpful and easy to work with!”

“Ron’s is my go-to moving company. I’ve gone to them for half a dozen moves at this point, and they’ve always been professional, speedy, and exactly on budget. Can’t recommend them enough.”

“What a great job Ron's did. Professional, careful, on-time. Really great movers. Thank you Ron's!”

“I’ve used them twice to move and they were great. They were professional, friendly, showed up on time and the movers were very careful with my belongings. I highly recommend!!”

“The owner was great setting the move setting expectations and providing suggestions. The team that came the day of the move was great. They worked well together and were professional and pleasant. I got out of the way and they got to work packing and repacking and moving everything. They were great on delivery and very patient with us. I appreciate everything.”

“This is the 6th segment for which we hired Cole and a crew of 4 movers to help us pack a few things and load our 2 16 ft PODS. His team was friendly and FAST, truly hard working guys. We'd had the PODS placed in the street, on either side of the driveway facing each other for ease of loading. We designated the POD on the LEFT for longterm storage, with those boxes each labeled "LT." The POD on the RIGHT was for our "Rental," boxes (things we'd need at our apartment). Placement of PODS was intentionally left and right so crew could more easily remember which was which. We'd labeled all boxes LT or Rental. TIP: use bullet points to indicate what's in each box to avoid the dreaded, "in which box did we put that thing?" You'll have a smooth experience with Monster Movers, Cole and his team. Thanks so much!!”

“These guys just moved us this week- honest, professional & careful. Hire them now!”
