Moving company reviews in New York

“The team at FitMovers123 was absolutely amazing. They moved my Nordic track treadmill with care. Their response time is incredible and their technicians arrived right on time. They were very professional, courteous, and knew exactly how to handle my expensive equipment. I couldn't be more pleased with their service and highly recommend them to anyone who needs fitness equipment moved.”

“The guys at Quick Move helped me move a lot of large, heavy items for my employer — several large work tables, some filing cabinets, large 3D Printers and machinery, some of which had to go to the top floor at the destination. Steve came to review the items to move the day before and discuss the job, and the guys were prompt, efficient and professional— couldn’t be happier!”

“Great experience. Made the moving process stress free. They took care of everything with care and detail. True professionals!”

“Diego and his team were a pleasure to work with! Communication was easy before the move, they arrived on time, and worked quickly and efficiently. The price was very reasonable, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again!”

“Pack & Go Movers are 2nd to none! They are professional, courteous, and extremely hard working. My family experienced a house fire a year ago. Crew Leader Richard, Doc, Eladio, Lance, Ruben, Sean and Eric moved us from our temporary housing, back to our home. This amazing crew of 7 arrived on time, packed up an entire 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, and loaded a host of boxes and all our furniture onto their truck. Then they drove 20 minutes from the apartment to my home, unloaded all of our belongings from the apartment, along with 50-60 additional boxes and a few furniture pieces we had in their storage facility. They did all of this in about 6 hours. My husband and I were in awe when they told us they had completely unloaded the truck and all of our belongings were in our home. I should add that all the boxes were labeled and placed in the proper rooms. They are the most efficient packing company I’ve ever worked with. I should mention that Pack & Go Movers moved us out of our home to the temporary apartment after our house fire a little more than a year ago. I would highly recommend them. If you decide to work with Pack & Go Movers, you will not be disappointed!”

“Great experience. Made the moving process stress free. They took care of everything with care and detail. True professionals!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Anthony and his team did an outstanding job putting together my Echo Bike. They were professional, punctual, and extremely detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything was assembled perfectly, double-checked, and left clean and ready to use. You can tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about doing the job right. They were friendly, respectful, and made the whole process completely stress-free. If you’re looking for someone reliable to assemble fitness equipment, I highly recommend Anthony and his employees. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you for the excellent service!”

“Mario, Andres, Rey, and Pascal were amazing. Moving is never fun, but these guys made it a thousand times better - considerate, kind, fast, and very good at what they do. It was a positive experience from start to finish. Thank you!!”

“Ron's moving company just moved us out of a house that we lived in for almost 60 years, a house that sits on a steep hill with 2 flights of stairs. This was a difficult move but Ron Sr. and Ron Jr. oversaw everything, sent their very best crew (along with Ron Jr.), executed moving logistics with amazing ingenuity and my family and I could not be happier. Thank you so much Ron and Ron! You are the best!! God bless you and your incredible team!”

“Super Mario and the crew are fantastic. They are kind and careful, and we thank them for a great move.”

“Had little bit of a scheduling snafu (why they lost a star), but it worked out great in the end. They really worked to get a couple guys out to me and we had some heavy furniture out of 2 shipping containers, moved and put together (a heavy wooden king bed frame) in an hour. Even with the snafu, would use them again!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fit Movers 123 exceeded my expectations in every way. The crew was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and treated my gym equipment with incredible care from start to finish. They expertly disassembled, transported, and reassembled everything, making sure each piece was perfectly set up and functioning flawlessly. Their attention to detail, efficiency, and respect for my home were outstanding, and they left the work area spotless. It’s rare to find a company that takes such pride in its work, and I highly recommend Fit Movers 123 to anyone looking for reliable, experienced gym equipment movers and installers. They truly deliver five-star service.”

“Good communication, great professionalism!! would book again”

“I worked with Rainbow Movers in a bit of a complicated move. Larry was wonderful and easy to communicate with. The team was terrific and helpful, they navigated difficult circumstances with delicate objects. AND the whole move came in under budget!! I strongly recommend Rainbow Movers if you are looking for trust and comfort with your stressful moving times.”

“Highly recommend. Communication was fast and clear. Price is excellent for Manhattan. Everything was handled with care. Very happy with Robbie and Artem’s help.”

“Hands down the best moving experience I have ever had. I hired Cool Hand Movers to pack, move, and deliver my ex’s belongings to his home. Because this was a high-conflict personal situation, I needed the entire process to be documented, controlled, and completed smoothly. I did not realize that a moving company could provide this kind of help, and I want others in similar situations to know how invaluable it can be. Max and Khutso were exceptionally kind and did a fantastic job. Max kept me updated throughout the process, and when he experienced car trouble, he went above and beyond by renting a car to complete the delivery. Cool Hand Movers was absolutely worth it for the peace of mind, outstanding service, and genuinely kind and fundamentally decent people. I would recommend them without hesitation and would absolutely hire them again.”

“This was my first experience with Velocity Moving and Storage, and it was a great one! From the first quote through delivery, it was very clear and professional. The crew was very hardworking, kept my belongings safe and got the job done without any issues. It felt like a safe company that is knowledgeable about how to deal with NYC and NJ moves appropriately.”

“I had a busy weekend with a move, and Velocity Moving was organized. When we moved, the movers arrived on time and did a professional job. Transferred heavy boxes, furniture and fragile objects with no damage. I really liked the team's calmness and efficiency.”

“My wife and I had an amazing experience with Avi Moving today. Avi and his team were very courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. They took great care of our items to make sure that nothing was damaged. They moved for us on 1 day's notice and saved our move after another moving company dropped the ball. The communication regarding pricing was clear and fair. We would definitely work with Avi Moving again for our next move and would recommend them to anyone.”

“Used Monster Movers on 7/13/26 to move my daughter to a new apartment in FL (was about 15 minutes from her old apartment). The movers did an excellent job. They wrapped up anything that could get damaged in the move (furniture, tv, etc.). Both movers were very friendly and super helpful. Communication up to the move date was great. Everything is able to be done online with email and text communications with confirmations prior to the move date. Each time I called, someone picked up and was happy to help with any questions. Would highly recommend them for a move.”

“Every person at this company went out of their way to give great leadership, expertise, support, and genuine care in moving my mother out of her home in northern Westchester and into assisted living in CT. I cannot recommend this company more.”

“Very efficient. Workers worked hard moving my stuff. They were very careful with my furniture Would use them again”

“The Experia moving team was fantastic. I initally hired them because they had great reviews for moving Peloton bikes, but the entire experience was top notch. The price was competitive, the communication was excellent, and moving day went as smoothly as it could have gone. The crew that did my move arrived right on time. They were efficient and friendly and took care to make sure everything was done as I wanted.”

“Angel, Armondo and Andrew were terrific. Very professional, came on time and know what they are doing. They were very careful with surrounding items in the house and were very considerate and kind. They made everything very quick and easy. Thank you very much. A++”

“We recently moved from New York to Florida and needed a reliable, high-end moving company that could provide dedicated trucks for our belongings, along with two months of climate-controlled storage. After interviewing three companies, we chose Avant-Garde, and the reason was simple. They were the only company that came to our home to personally inspect all of our furniture and accurately estimate the number of boxes required. Abby and Adi, the owner, took the time to explain every step of the process, including the packing methods, operations, storage, transportation, and delivery. We have moved several times over the years, and I have to admit that Avant-Garde provided the best packing we have ever experienced. They don't cut corners or use cheap materials. Their three-layer packing technique: cardboard protection, heavy-duty moving blankets, and shrink wrap, kept everything exceptionally well protected, including our professional home gym equipment. What truly sets Avant-Garde apart, however, is that they stand behind their work and take full responsibility. Although we chose not to purchase additional insurance because we were so impressed with their packing, we experienced an issue after the move to Florida. Adi, the owner, immediately took full responsibility and resolved the issue 100%!!! That is what a true luxury moving company does, they take pride in their work, stand behind their service, and make things right when something unexpected happens!”

“Vic and the team were quick, friendly, and helpful. Everything arrived safely from our interstate move to our new home. I highly recommend this team of professionals.”

“These guys were amazing! Took excellent care of the customers and my belongings.”

“Pack & Go are, without a doubt, the best movers! Huge thank you to Delto, Sean, Doc, Noah, Al, and Brandon—they are an incredible team. They packed everything with such care and professionalism that not a single item was damaged during the move. Delivery was just as flawless, and they made what could have been a stressful experience completely seamless. We couldn’t be happier with their service and highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers!”

“Really nice guys that created a great moving experience. Handled everything with care and much more competitive pricing than any other movers we reached out to. Everything was seamless! Would definitely use them again!”

“Excellent movers! They were professional, reliable, and efficient throughout the entire move. They arrived on time, stayed on schedule, and handled everything with great care. The team was friendly, polite, and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend them.”

“Amazing experience! Would definitely work with this company again!”

“I had such an amazing experience with these movers! They broke nothing, five happy guys worked so hard and fast, they made it their mission to save my 12 foot birch tree from my backyard so it wouldn’t die, and at 4 PM my new house looked unpacked and impeccable! FYI I highly recommend choosing the pack and unpack service; I didn’t have to buy boxes or bubble wrap a single cup!”

“Of the 5 moving companies I've used the past 10+ years in NYC, Gentle Giant was by far the best moving company I've ever hired. My interstate move from NYC to NJ was exceptional thanks to the crew (Dusan, Abdou, Hanefi, Yariel). The crew was actually down a mover for a 5 person job since one mover called out sick, but despite being short staffed the moving team were able to get the job done on time, carefully, and FAST. The team was also incredibly friendly and professional the entire time. An otherwise stressful move was made so much easier and better thanks to the Gentle Giant crew. I was so impressed by the team's professionalism, friendliness, and grit despite encountering challenges with parking, tricky staircases, and moving a massive 9 drawer dresser through various terrain. Thank you so much to the moving team and Gentle Giant!”

“Wow Sven Moving totally exceeded my expectations for my recent move within Brooklyn. They were easy to work with before the move; collecting our inventory and making sure all parts of the move had proper insurance coverage. On the day of the move, the guys showed up exactly on time and moved quickly and efficiently - even when we had double the number of boxes on our estimate. The entire move from door to door was exactly three hours, and the guys were total pros the entire time - even in the pouring rain! The price was incredibly reasonable, much lower than what we were quoted from every other moving company. I would highly recommend Sven to anyone even slightly considering using them.”

“Edit: I just used Avant-Garde for a second move--the collection and installation of a vintage desk from a furniture restorer. Once again they did an amazing job. The desk was moved with great care and the installation was highly professional. Dino, the foreman, suggested a different mounting method to make the desk more secure and took great care to make sure it was positioned at the correct height and secure on the wall. Another great experience. Highly recommended! I had an excellent experience with Avant-Garde. I used the moving service to deliver an artwork purchased at auction and to collect another artwork from storage, and I also used the art installation service to hang both pieces. The team took great care with both pieces and I am very pleased with the service I received. I will use them again!”

“Nice work. Great communication!”

“Great experience with this moving team! They were professional, efficient, and careful with my belongings. We moved from NY, Westchester County to North Carolina. Highly recommend their services! Thank you so so much! Anne & Emmanuel”

“These movers were absolutely amazing!! They were wonderful, friendly people and they did a great job packing with care. They worked efficiently and got the job done at a rapid pace. It made such moving so much more pleasant. I highly recommend this company and although I hope I dont have to EVER move again, they would be my go to if I do.”

“Chris and Noah were the best! Can’t recommend this company enough. They were so efficient and careful with our things. If we have to move again in the future, we will definitely be using them again.”

“IPS Movers is amazing and will definitely be using them again and sending everyone I know their way. John made communication so easy from the start. Quick, efficient, and were careful with every single piece. Huge thank you to Diego, Christian, and Anevoy! You guys made the day feel so easy.”

“We have been in the same studio space for 25 years, so the thought of moving was very intimidating. Cool Hand came and sorted us with no problems; what could have been awful was fabulous, just fabulous. They were professional, fast, efficient and friendly. Their billing was fair and transparent. We have two more moves scheduled and I look forward to working with Cool Hand again. If you need movers, do not call anyone but Cool Hand Movers.”

“Great staff, super transparent, very helpful, honestly such a great moving experience, I wish I could give Pol, Vic, Dicky, and the rest of the team 6 stars.”

“From start to finish they were fantastic! Very friendly, extremely professional and a great price!!”

“Iron Men Moving recently helped us with a long-distance move that also included two separate pickup stops. The team handled all the logistics very smoothly and stayed organized throughout the entire process. The movers were professional, hardworking, efficient, and very careful with our furniture and belongings. They made a complicated move feel much easier and much less stressful. Everything arrived safely, and the team was friendly and respectful from beginning to end. We truly appreciate their help and would definitely recommend Iron Men Moving to anyone looking for a reliable company for a long or short distance move.”

“I recently hired Pro Movers for my move and I cannot say enough great things about Lorenzo and his team. From start to finish they were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They were running a little behind schedule but made sure to call and keep me updated every step of the way. The team worked efficiently and handled everything with care. Their prices are very reasonable and fair for the quality of service you receive. I also found out they do garbage removal which is a great bonus service to know about! If you are looking for movers you can trust, do not hesitate to hire Pro Movers. I would recommend them to anyone for any type of move.”

“Excellent service! From the price to the professionalism manors just all around great experience!”
